Just like the barber shop !
Great product ! Smell terrific, works well and seems to last longer than an average bar of soap. Good value !

Excellent product
Excellent product. Cleans without stripping the skin. I have used it in preparation for shaving, for years.

Expensive, but worth it!
I've had oily skin for as long as I can remember. Also, my BO had a strong acidic smell, and the skin on my heels cracked and peeled a lot. No longer! I didn't realize that I had been using high-pH (alkaline) soap for decades, but when I started learning about the importance of skin pH and the microbiome, I looked around and switched to Redken Brews. Its smell reminds me of older men, but it's a very pleasant smell. (It even makes the whole bathroom smell nice!) A few weeks after making the switch, my skin has become less oily. I've even gone two days without showering and using deodorant, and the acidic smell is almost entirely gone. As for the cracking skin on my heels, that has also stopped. However, I should clarify something first:Before buying the product, I stopped washing my feet with soap. I had learned that a specific microbe that lives on everyone's feet helps prevent athlete's foot. The skin deliberately feeds it to keep the fungus away. Rinsing my feet with water only fixed the problem. However, with Redken Brews, I've found I can now use soap again if I notice foot odor, and the soap does not cause cracking. I don't even need to file down excess skin anymore. (Note: I'm in my mid-40s, so that may change as I age.)I know some reviews state that the bar doesn't last long. I use a shower organizer to keep it dry. Two more ways to save soap: Lather the bar in your hands instead of rubbing it directly on the skin. Also, only use soap on your face, armpits, and crotch, washing elsewhere only as needed. (Dermatologists are starting to recommend it. It has to do with the skin's microbiome again.)I highly recommend Redken Brews to everyone. For me, it has solved so many skin problems.

great cleansing soap!!
I have been using this soap for 30 years and really like the smell and the way it leaves your skin!! I wish it were a bit less cheaper in cost.

GREAT PRODUCT, STUPID NAME FOR IT
Redken used to make a pink bar for women but no longer do, so I buy the men's version. Redken Brews sounds like a type of beer or cleansing bar with beer in it. Who thought that up?!!! Too bad about both the name and the missing bar for women. Redken could have come up with a white bar (like Cerave's) that would have worked for both men and women. Strange, some of the decisions that companies make.

Good, But Expensive!
I have used this soap now for years because it is PH neutral, and therefore, does not irritate my skin. The fragrance is a little too old-time barbershop for me, but not unpleasant either. Either way it's a mild enough scent and does not linger, or clash with other fragrances. The only negative is the price. Yikes! I have to shop around to find it at around ten bucks a bar. Granted it lasts a long time if you keep it out of the shower spray, but I still spend $150.00 or more on it each year. I can't believe they couldn't sell it cheaper if they wanted to. Unfortunately, I can't find anything else that keeps my skin as comfortable, so I guess I will stick with it until somebody else decides to compete for this niche, or I run out of money!

Not just for men
My mom introduced me to this bar as it was pH balanced and non-drying for our sensitive skin. My daughter has thick, full hair, normal shampoo makes it look greasy after just a day or so. She can shampoo her hair with this bar, no conditioner needed, and it looks clean and healthy for almost a week. I also use it on my face and body, and it doesn't feel drying. The scent could be considered slightly "masculine," but it mostly just smells clean and herbal, we love it!
