Sheath Fixed Knife Sheath, Brown basketweave leather,Fits up to 6in blade SH1135 / SH210 BROWN

I bought this sheath for my Case XX 300 Apache knife. The blade is 3/4" by a shade over 5 1/8". This sheath would easily accommodate a blade 1 1/4" wide. Length, it would take a 6" blade easily, maybe a shade more. My handle is 4 5/8", and sticks up 1/4" above the top of the sheath...not an issue for me.The sheath itself was made well enough. The stitching was inline where it should be, and the rivets were in the right places, and well fastened. The pattern appears to be pressed in. For the rare times I will actually wear this knife/sheath, I think it will hold up nicely.My only issue was the strap that snaps together and holds the knife in place. It is loose, and I didn't care for it moving around. A little glue from a hot glue gun solved that. I also reversed the snap, making it easier to unsnap as I sweep my hand back to grasp the knife. I can basically unsnap and grab the blade in the same motion.

Decent quality budget level sheath. Real leather and metal rivets. No welt. I wish they made an oak acorn tooled one like the old Western's.

I bought this for my buck 119 that didn't have a sheath. It fits the blade, but because the handle and the guard is wide it pushes the belt loop to the side and the leather strap doesn't close around the handle. However, you can remove the strap and place another piece of leather that can close around the handle which is what I'm probably going to do. I wanted a simple leather sheath that could keep the blade protected. Before I just had my knife out in the open and would just leave it in my drawer where it wouldn't fall and damage the blade or worse cut someone who wasn't paying attention. The leather is thin, but I don't see it tearing anytime soon for the purpose I bought it for. I'm not sure how it would fair in the outdoors for camping, but because the loop sits high on the sheath, I find it comfortable by my hip when I use it outside my home. There's a rivet inside near the top of the sheath that can scratch your blade, so if you don't want that then consider some other options. Overall, I think this sheath is fine. It's not too expensive and gets the job done. It probably won't last you as long (but who knows?) as other sheaths and is better suited for knives with a slim handle.

Too small for my knife but great quality

Less than impressed with the sturdiness of the material, but my main disappointment is the fact that this sheath was listed as appropriate size for a knife with a 5.5 to 6 inch blade, while my 5.5 inch blade knife doesn't come close to fitting. This sheath MIGHT fit a 4 inch blade.

Ultimately I had to return this. the product was nice, looked fine and seemed well put together. It fit the knife I had but the button snap closure secure the handle was way to short to snap it closed. For the size knife it holds you'd need a pretty small diameter handle to get the closure to work. If they keep making this they should add 1/2" to the closure strap.
