This arrived today & I'm very impressed with the size & craftsmanship. It was surprisingly lighter than expected & I only needed one vinyl siding hook. I did spray it with a clear coat to keep it looking new throughout the summer especially with the sun beating on it. I'll store this during the winter months.

I like the design … that’s why I ordered it. It’s very well made & hangs easily. Am pleased all the way around except the color isn’t quite as shown. Much darker. More black tones.

Our new “Mr. Sun” is here! We bought this to replace a nearly identically-shaped sun/celestial piece that came with the house when we bought it. Our boys named it “Mr. Sun” but the paint was peeling and the metal rusting etc. 6 years later and we decided finally to replace it. This one looks just like it! It’s 3 feet across. Darker in color than I expected (and darker than our original piece) but actually matches our homes exterior quite well. Nicely made, good quality. Makes a nice statement without feeling too loud or in your face. A bit lighter in weight than expected so hopefully the winds don’t sway/rock it too much, we’ll see. All in all I’m happy with the purchase. Toddler for rough scale greeting our new “Mr. Sun”. ;-)

Like other reviews, I have to mention that the piece does not lie flat against the wall and needs some tweaking. My other disappointment is the coloring, again, I think others have mentioned it, the face has a little bit of copper on it but the rest is flat boring metal. I like the size and being artistic I can apply some paint but wish I didn't have to. I appreciate the effort it took to cut and weld the thing together though.

This gorgeous huge sun face is on the front of our garage and has endured two years of harch weather so far - looking as new as the day we put it up - and that's no easy feet in Buffalo NY!

I will be putting a little bright gold color on tips to stand out a little and also putting a clear coat on this before placing outside on my garage. Because I am a gardener and no matter the weather - the sun is always shinning in my yard. Will also put a clear coat just to keep in looking new. Just my opinion, but weather in Michigan is harsh and I have not decided if I will keep it up year round, especially due to it being high on the garage.

Even though it's nice looking, one of the sun rays was bent entirely back against the back side of the face of the Sun. The box was not damaged and it appeared that it was packaged well. Fast shipping from seller. Had to return it.

I bought this large sun for a statement piece on a very large open wall in my home. The size is perfect, around 36". The color is great, a burnt copper, bronze. The face on the sun is awesome. It was easy to hang. The only issue is the outside ring is slightly bent on the left side...I didn't notice it until it was hung on the wall. I am not going to return it. I will try to not notice it when I look at it and hopefully other folks won't see it either. : (

Love looking at it every day on my balcony.
