Just get it, you won't regret it! Great value, easy to switch out cartridges, remote works from inside my house through the window, it has a built in timer, there's a fun selection (BUT...no birthday- it's actually for new year's) . Overall I am very happy, it's nice and bright, and looks awesome.

Lights up the house outside for Halloween! With multiple slides can keep out for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very happy for the cost. Word of Advice.....mount the unit on a plank so you don't have fuss sticking it in the ground. I also recommend reinforcing the cord where it connects to the plug to inhibit chance of fraying.

As you can see from the description this unit has two sources of light, one casting wave patterns and one with specifically themed projections kind of like an old time slide projector (color of course, they aren't savages). Unlike a projector the system cycles through the eight images on each insert cartridge and multiple images are projected at all times that it is on. These figures move at a variable and settable speed, can be set to blink on/off. You can set "4 LEDs, 6 LEDs, of 8 LEDs" which varies the number of different images but it isn't 4-6-8 more 6-8-lots as some are coming into the picture as others are going out. I got 11 cartridges.The water wave light can be set to white, red, blue, green, combinations, or off. There is a primary cycle (r-g-b-w) and a combination cycle. (cyclic 1 and 2).I think the image projection system works better than the systems that depend on lasers. They have more color and variety with no real downside I've noticed so far. I would note that brightness and size are determined by distance from your projection surface and the nature of the surface. Projecting on a dark wall or at long distances is likely too much to ask.

This projector is an easy way to make your house festive without having to hang and take down a ton of decorations every few months. There are a bunch of different slides that you can use for various Holidays. There are 3 different slides for Halloween particularly. It is quite bright, I tested it during the day inside and I could still make out all of the designs well. It comes with a way to stake it down in your lawn or a flat base you can screw onto the roof or any flat surface. It has a 16 feet power cord which was useful for me as I don't have plugs outside so it was able to be run under my door and inside the house for power.
