Q: Why is there a pump head but nothing inside the bottle to actually pump it from the bottle?

Hi Ella. There is no "straw" in the bottle as the bottle works as a vacuum. When the pump is pushed down, a false bottom in the bottle moves up, dispensing product. I also note that your review states that you have "tried it for a few days". The product is a medium to long term use item so i do feel that giving it 2 stars after such a short time is a bit harsh! Yes, it leaves no flakes. Creamy and easy absorbing. Not the best product for dark eye circles
