Sharp enough to cut skin easily if not sanded smooth. Sharp bottom would quickly cut through foot.No metal in foot to keep Sharp edge from cutting. I solved this with an American dime coin inserted.Foot is somewhat shock absorbing, but not very robust and will need replacement fairly often I think.For AMZ listing, no extra foot shown available. It will be needed. Custom shape means standard feet will not work.AMZ listing showed black foot and handle cover. Elegant look. Item came with bright orange which is not so nice. Listing did not give an option so it seemed black was standard.I would like seller to supply black foot and handle cover as listed. May return item since not delivered as pictured.In reality, adjustment of length not so helpful. Palm of hand falls on top of tube. If extended at all for fine adjustment , uncomfortable on the hand.Update.3 weeks under hand and I do like this cane but DO NOT recommend it. Customer service nonexistent.
