This cutting board was a gift to my son-in-law and daughter. It lives on their countertop. They love it.

Heavy duty board, wish I would’ve purchased long ago.

This is a really nice cutting board and, properly taken care of, should last a really long time. Although I knew it was 18x18x2.5 inches when I ordered it, I guess I was taken aback when I saw just how huge it is. It took me a while to find a place in my kitchen to store it. It is really thick, wide, tall and heavy.With that being said, it is really heavy duty and attractive. It sits very firmly on your counter without rocking or slipping due to the workmanship and the weight. The steel tray that either catches juices or can take discarded scraps is a really handy and unique feature. It is versatile as either a carving board or standard cutting board with the two sides, one with the juice well that empties into the tray.I heartily recommend this cutting board with the caveat that not everyone will be able to accommodate and store such a large board.

This is one of the best purchases I made for our kitchen-even hubby agrees.I use this daily as it sits on my granite counter next to the sink. Scraps can go into the stainless steel pan(which goes into the dishwasher) or when I clean green beans for 2 people, I put the cleaned beans into the pan and the scraps on the board which I brush into the sink. Turn the board over and you have a nice large cutting board for cooked meats and the juices run into the pan which can be used for gravy, au jus or drizzled on the sliced meat..I am only sorry I didn't discover this sooner before I bought lovely flat boards that made a mess of meat juices etc. Easy to clean. Occasionally oil or wax board.

This board is gorgeous! The drip edge is slanted so the juice will drop down into the pan. It can handle any size roast or turkey. Makes a great charcuterie board. It's large and pretty heavy. Love it!

This cutting board is awesome, very detailed in its construction. Its reversible and the groove along the outside on the one side is shallower towards the back and deeper and thicker towards the au jus dish so the juices flow to the pan rather than just sit in the groove. It is a very thick cutting board and bigger than I expected which can make washing it a bit of a pain because it doesn't fit well in the sink (we have a standard side by side kitchen sink).Overall, this is the best cutting board we have ever had, just kind of wish I would have gone with the smaller one (or I had a bigger kitchen sink).

This cutting board is heavy and well made. The juice well is deep enough but it does not drain to the juice tray. I wish the well was sloped slightly toward the tray then as I was working the juice would drain away from my cutting space. As it is I have to scrape the juice into the tray and tilt the board to get what juice is in the well to drain to the tray. Hope they read this and try to solve this issue.

Like every other Boos Block this thing is very well made. It is properly glued and dried, and when wiped and oiled when it starts to look dry, it will provide a very long service life. The deep groove and juice tray works pretty well for containing a mess when carving a roast.

This Boos cutting board is beautiful and we love it. However we just noticed slight delamination happening see pictures and we are concerned this will continue despite regular treatments with the cream and oil we purchased specifically for this cutting board. Also concerned that contamination may be a problem if the split keeps growing wider. Wondering if Boos has any suggestions or assistance?we rarely even cut on the board without a smaller cutting board over top!

This is a lifetime product it is extremely well-made

This is a solid cutting board -- and heavy. I love it. Also appreciate that the juices run down into the collecting tray, or if I flip it over, I can just push scraps right into the tray.One complaint: nothing holds the tray in place: If you need to move the board, you have to put a hand on the tray whichever side is up. This is also a problem storing it, which we solved by putting it in a cupboard, tray side against the wall -- the edge is wide enough that it stands up without a problem. Still, I view this a design flaw, sorry Mr. Boos.

Sehr schönes schweres wertiges Schneidebrett.Das wertet sogar den Esstisch auf, wenn man den fertigen Braten darauf serviert.Ich hätte mir bei dem Preis allerdings gewünscht, dass die Abtropfschale in eine eingefräste Nut geschoben werden könnte.
