Lovely tasting coffee - full rounded flavour
Using this coffee for V60 pour over, grinding within the suggested range of my grinder and following the standard 4:6 brewing method I get a consistently tasty cup, good mouthful and event with water fresh off the boil (using a regular kettle) it never gets too bitter, guessing the light roast and the coarse grind will be playing a role in that. Good stuff, will likely order more again!

Rather ordinary flavour, not very "pro"
I’m reviewing the Brazil variety here. This 250g pack is marked “for professional use only” at least twice, but it’s not really clear to me why- it’s a small bag of relatively ordinary coffee beans that are just as suited to a bean-to-cup coffee machine or some grinding at home. The packaging is only slightly bland and industrial-looking, and the ten quid price tag for a 250g bag is certainly not wholesale business-to-business pricing.Perhaps it’s because, if you went into a small coffee shop and ordered a black coffee, and got served this, it would be exactly what you were expecting- no more, no less. A very straightforward, middle-of-the-road, semi-rich black coffee with a very good deep colour, but a little bit short on aroma, and also short on character. Not too nutty, not too chocolatey, not too much of anything really, it’s a fairly soft blend that works fine black, but also cooperates well with milk. It’s not the kind of coffee that commands attention, either for better or for worse, and almost everything about it is “medium”.As such, the value at time of writing (a tenner for a relatively small pack) does stand up all that well compared to other brands that can offer either something more interesting for the same price, or a very ordinary everyday black coffee a little cheaper.Giving it three stars does feel a little harsh, it is tempting to give it four stars as there’s really nothing wrong with it, but this coffee is so very “medium” that I’m going to give it a medium number of stars.

Great but now price soars
Ive had the Guatemala and Ethiopia versions and both were nice coffee priced at £15.99 for 750g. After stock ran out and was restocked it went to £21.99 for 750g butnits just not worth that much. Hate rip off merchants

Excellent Coffee
Lovely coffee. When you drink you taste chocolate and sweet aftertaste. Very intense aroma as well. I recommend this.

Great coffee
Great smell and taste. The coffee is freshly roasted and I feel the taste of flowers and vanilla in it. Perfect for my espresso.

Good quality and great tasting, a unique but smooth flavour!
Unfortunately, my coffee beans were packed in a paper shipping bag and they had burst inside spilling everywhere. The top had opened up most likely due to being squashed but I still think the glue that is used to seal the bag isn’t very strong, only about as good as a pritt stick.Thankfully the beans still smelt fresh and tasted really nice, even though they were produced 6 months ago according to the bag. The best before date is 2 years from production which means mine still had 18 months left. Its certainly a different blend of coffee than I usually have, this one is really smooth and I get a strong taste of fruits and chocolate coming through. It’s definitely creamy and has a long aftertaste, I really like it and it’s the kind of coffee you would get from an independent coffee shop rather than a chain in my opinion. The beans work perfectly in my bean-to-cup machine. They make for an ideal café crème but aren’t really strong enough for a latte which is my preferred drink, the flavours don’t come through as well with that much milk involved.Overall, I think these are good quality and great tasting Brazilian coffee beans which seem to have a very unique flavour to them. At around £9 for 250g they certainly aren’t cheap but they do seem to have more flavour than the cheaper £4-£5 bags I normally buy so they are probably worth paying the extra for.I’m happy to recommend these coffee beans and I feel they are worth four stars, mainly just because mine were already 6 months when I received them.
