Hippie Elephant Crossbody Bag - Boho Cotton Shoulder Bag with Spacious Interior - Lightweight Bohemian Purse Adjustable

The first bag I received had a hole in one of the seams - not something I had noticed as a common issue from any of the other reviews. I sent it back immediately and ordered a replacement, which was handled seamlessly (no pun intended). By the end of the week, I had a new bag, flawless, which I LOVE. (Today I joked that I wished I had spent more time out of the house, so I could have a reason to be wearing my new purse.) The item has a great, casual look, with an attractive print, and I love that it has the two zippers (for the main compartment and a small inside compartment), as well as being spacious. While I wouldn't fill it up routinely with heavy items as the material isn't super thick (maybe a little thicker than a relatively well made t-shirt?), the bag appears to be well made, and it would be just right for carrying a bottle of water or book in addition to a wallet and other "typical" purse items. The bag appears to be well made, and I anticipate it will serve me well for quite some time! Based on other reviews I had been concerned about the bag hanging too low on me at 5'2", but it sits with the opening near my waist and the bag itself at thigh-height, which I think adds to the casual look and I find ideal--it gives comfortable access to the bag while it's hung across my body, and the low positioning prevents any discomfort from the items in the bag being under one's arm while walking as with the positioning of a traditional purse. As someone who was dreading the hunt for a new purse after the strap on my old one finally broke (I'm not into purses, but can respect the practicality of having a way to carry items of necessity!), I've found one that I love so much, I'm almost happy my old one kicked the bucket. :)

First off let me say this bag is SO adorable!The design and colors match the picture perfectly.I also really like the length of the strap on this purse I can wear it on my shoulder or as a cross body comfortably. I also really like that it has a zipper closure that reaches end to end so I don't have to worry about anything falling out.One thing that I didn't notice is the original pictures (and this could have been me just missing it) is a little wooden button that also can be used to secure the bag closed or as double security (if you're always on the go like me it's nice to not have to worry about loosing things). There is also a small pocket with a zipper on the inside as well that I really like for putting my more personal items that I need to carry with me in.Lastly, I did notice as a few people said there is a little bit of a chemical smell (I am guessing to keep it from getting wrinkled in the shipping process which I highly appreciate) but it is really not that strong. I put to dryer sheets in it and hung it up in my room and the smell is pretty much gone now.Overall, I really love this bag! I may even order it in another color! :)

Pro - the fabric is incredibly strong! I need crossbags due to mobility issues, and this one holds a ton, and I often get compliments on it.Con - the stitching around the zipper and little inner pouch is flimsy and I'm going to have to reinforce it. (That's where I start copping a tude and saying "Darling, if I have to do 25% of the work, can I have a 25% discount, pretty please?")That said, if you don't mind whipping out a needle and thread after a couple of months, this is a terrific, roomy bag. If you use an organizer in it, use a full-zip type (like RuMe) rather than one with open pockets, as that kind turns turtle in this bag very easily. Still - love it, and will recommend with those caveats.

This bag has held up very well, which is kind of unexpected to me considering the price and what I tend to use it for.I take this bag with me every time I go to the library because it's large enough to fit most sizes of books inside. I tend to check out 3-7 large books when I go and this bag holds them all like a champ. It's extremely cute! I love that it has a zipper closure and a button closure.The strap is a little long and non-adjustable, but I've fixed that by tying a knot in it to shorten it to the length I'd like, which works perfectly. I'd rather have a strap too long than a strap too short.There is also a tiny zippered pocket on the inside of the bag, which I tend to use to hold my library receipts as reminders of when my book return date is. It could be used to hold lip balm, credit cards, etc. when going to the beach if used as a beach tote.

The fabric was like a cheap scratchy thin t-shirt. I was riding my bike with it (not smart because of how long the bag is) and it got caught in my gears. It busted open so fast in several different spots, and the way it ripped reminded me of a run in tights. It's definitely very cute tho, and can hold quite a bit.

Very light weight, maybe a little too light weight.I love the appearance, I love elephants.The part that really works for me is that a have a bad shoulder, so the length of this bag and the ability to either tie it up more or hang out across my body is awesome, avoiding bad shoulder....The only bad thing I can really say is it's thin material, there's only one little pouch to maybe keep some change, so since you have your wallet and other items you may carry, may to be heavy on that thin material.I personally carry a wallet, receipts, change and so far haven't had a problem!For the price, and if you love elephants like me? Totally worth it!Update... Now that I've been using it for a bit, I still love this bag! Still in perfect condition, and it doesn't touch my bad shoulder.I don't have to constantly adjust it on my good shoulder. It never feels like it's going to fall off. It's like it's not even there!Stupid people travel with stupid things. I just did a week in Cali, but I packed this and I looked awesome while was there using it. It's not a travel bag people!

Excelente bolsa, tela un poco delgada, planeo ponerle un forro para que sea mas resistente. El cierre es chico y se atora a veces pero ME ENCANTO !!! Completamente recomendable, excelente espacio

A pretty nice bag for the price. It's roomy, it's lightweight, it's comfortable to carry, and it looks good. It even has a zipper closing along the top. It's made of quite a thin cotton fabric, but I like that about it. I'll be using it as a beach bag.
