Absolutely Perfect
I bought this for an outdoor stray cat and I’m obsessed with it!! It is such amazing quality and the instructions could not have been an easier. The quality truly has me blown away and it’s so easy for myself to access the whole house to clean and put food inside.

REALLY nice for the price.
I was pricing out some builds for cat hutches, and the lumber alone was going to run me several times the cost of this. Now, I was looking at using decent plywood and solid construction, but the cats don't really care. This thing isn't going to win any awards for the sturdiest and most well built cat hutch -- the wood is light and thin, and it's all held together with screws and a few pegs.That said, for the price, it's a steal. Two hinged roofs with locking arms to hold the roof open while you work inside. Asphalt roofing. Plastic flashing between the roofs to avoid water leaks. Sturdy enough for a bunch of cats to play on and abuse, and overall, nicely designed.Shipping was faster than expected (arrived 6 days early) -- a nice surprise. Took me just shy of 2 hours to put together alone. Mostly lots of screws and lining things up. No hex wrenches required -- it's all Phillips.A couple of spots were painted wood putty and not wood (one on a hinge, which is a bit lame), but nothing mission critical.If you're on the fence, I'd say get it.

Quality cat house
I was pleased with the quality of the cat house. Simple to assemble with two people.

Part came broken, looks like an attempt to be glued. Broke due to existing crack
The media could not be loaded. See title. Had all parts out of box when found broken piece, when tried to attach per directions, piece broke more. Chose to go to hardware store to repair vs pain of repackaging and returning. Wood very dry and brittle. Highly suggest you drill pilot holes before trying to secure with screws

Went together nice, outdoor cats love it. I wish they had added a hole with a grommet to run a wire in (I have a cat heater pad.)
