A really great game of football. I usually buy Fifa but after playing the PES demo I thought I'd buy the full game and try it out as wanted something new. The gameplay is way ahead of Fifa and you can do things and score goals that just aren't possible in ea's game. Not unrealistic things but moves and goals you see in the Premier league by the top players. Graphics/presentation is not quite up the Fifas level but it's still very good and doesn't distract from a top top football game. I am converted for sure!

Sono rimasto positivamente sorpreso dall'edizione PES 2018. Passi da gigante dal punto di vista della giocabilita', si possono costruire azioni complesse e varie, ogni partita e' diversa e l'intelligenza artificiale e' fantastica. Le squadre hanno personalita' e caratteristiche diverse, i giocatori si smarcano e suggersicono passaggi come in una vera partita. Notevoli i progressi dal punto di vista del controllo di palla dei giocatori, delle finte, dei movimenti. Insomma una esperienza davvero appagante, Konami ha preso la strada giusta. Rimane il problema delle licenze specialmente per chi ha Xbox One, un peccato ma alla fine l'esperienza di gioco prevale

Bought this because I’ve become so disenfranchised with FIFA and I used to love PES. I played PES Lite for free and absolutely fell back in love with the gameplay of PES, it’s back to its best and for £25 this was a steal.Even though like two weeks later it went on sale, I felt like I’d bought Virgil van Dijk for over the odds. I didn’t care, I had my man.If you’re a football purist, PES is once again King for you.

It should be noted, first and foremost, that Konami are doing a splendid job of trying their best to compete with the increasingly richer EA Sports with their version of the beautiful game, considering they have considerably less to put into the game. However, it is simply just not at the same standard.The initial gameplay feels very good, and the passing is easily more realistic than that of any Fifa titles ever released. Yet, it isn’t enough to keep you hooked for the long-term.A quick dash through the licensed Champions League mode, and the game feels almost completed. The master league has lost its charm, maybe through the sub-standard player growth system, maybe through the extreme difficulty, even on the easier setting, of actually purchasing players.I love football games, but this one is something I play very casually, as a break from Fifa. It is by no means a regular thing, and it actually serves to make me realise just how good this years Fifa game has actually been.The slick passing and stylish graphics aren’t enough to keep me invested long-term. It feels very much a “plug and play” type game, to play when you just need a break from the EA Sports based-product.If you use the game like this, you will have a decent experience. If you buy as a replacement, or instead of Fifa, expect to be disappointed; the style is not substantial enough to compensate for the often clunky and thick mechanics of trying to take a player on, or utilise a players pace, or using the trick stick.All in all, worth a go at a lower price to add to the collection for a casual gamer. Not reccomdned to a hardened veteran of football games; it is a far cry from the last brilliant Pes game of 2008, and with Konami losing the Champions League licensing, I do fear this is the last Pes game we may actually see.
