Ps link device not working at all
These Pulse Elite headphones are a disappointment. They work fine with Bluetooth, but PS Link is completely unreliable. Without PS Link, I can’t even connect them to my PS5. For the price, this is unacceptable. I want a refund

Distortion at High Volume
These headphones aren't that good. Although the headset is loud, it is not loud enough. It also suffers from bass distortion at higher volumes whether you connect it via the PS Link Adapter or Bluetooth. Other than this, I'd say this is an ok headset. I'll be testing this for some more time and will decide on whether to return or not.

Excellent Gaming Headset with Top-notch Sound and Comfort!
I recently purchased the Sony PlayStation Pulse Elite Wireless Headset, and I am beyond impressed! As someone who loves gaming, the sound quality is incredibly important to me, and the Pulse Elite does not disappoint.**Sound Quality:**The audio is crystal clear, with rich bass and sharp treble that brings my games to life. Whether I'm immersed in action-packed shooters or enjoying the detailed soundscapes of an RPG, the sound reproduction is fantastic. The planar magnetic drivers offer detailed and accurate sound, making it perfect for any gaming genre.**Comfort:**The headset is super comfortable to wear for long sessions. The ear cups are plush and fit snugly around the ears without feeling too tight. The rubberized suspension band is a thoughtful design choice, making it easy to adjust and ensuring the headset stays securely in place. I can game for hours without any discomfort.**Connectivity:**The wireless connection is flawless, and it’s so easy to pair with my PS5. The PlayStation Link connectivity provides low-latency, lossless audio, which is a must-have for competitive gaming. I also love the ability to pair it with Bluetooth devices for listening to music or chatting on my phone.**Microphone:**The retractable boom mic provides clear and crisp voice chat, which is perfect for multiplayer sessions. The noise isolation ensures my teammates hear me clearly without background noise.**Battery Life:**The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 53 hours on a single charge! This makes it perfect for long gaming sessions without the need to constantly recharge.**Minor Downsides:**The only minor issue I’ve encountered is a clicking noise in the ear cups when I move my head, which can be a little distracting at times. Also, the design is slightly bulkier than some other headsets, but it’s nothing that detracts from the overall experience.**Overall:**The Pulse Elite is a premium headset that delivers excellent sound, comfort, and features for PlayStation users. Whether you're a casual gamer or someone who plays for hours, this headset is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Amazing 3D headset
Don't think just go for it if you are a gaming freak.. I received yesterday and played Cyberpunk 2077 using this gem.. Amazing sound experience although cyberpunk is not 3D audio compatible but it sounds amazing now next I will try Miles morales which is 3D compatible... I will rate 4 out of 5.. Quality could have been better

Seal was broken!
An already used piece with broken seals was sent to me. Horrible from Sony India to be sending packages like this to customers.

Initial impression is a mixbag
Updating my review after receiving the replacement:.The replacement also had its manufacturer pull tabs torn. Not sure if these are refurbished or some Indian certification checks being performed. But from a product standpoint they appear to be brand new. The new link adapter which I received does not seem to have the USB fitment issue which I had earlier hence I was correct to assume that some link adapters have a factory defect. After using these for more than a week at 50% volume on PC and 70% on PS5 with enough burn in time I still do not feel this to be a all in one headset for gaming or daily use. My final observation is as below:1)The replacement headset seems to have a tad bit less louder at the same volume as compared to the first one.2)Bass is definitely less specially the thumping one but some fast sharp tapping bass can be felt when EQ-ed.3)The headset pad material feels very fragile and I am always conscious/cautious when putting then on and off. Not sure how long they will last ,does not give me much confidence.4)Coming to overall sound I feel like it has some uneven loudness specially when used with PC like while gaming certain dialogs or instruments sounds less prominent as overall surrounding. Not sure if it is doing some internal 3D processing or something. Whereas with PS5 I think it is good enough.5)The wireless connection is very stable did not had any connection issue yet.6)Battery life is very good.7)On PC both Windows volume control and headset volume control is independent and is not in sync.8)The headset led light is very distracting especially when used in dark environment.Overall I am not that impressed for a 13k headset I expected more. I still feel that my Fiio Jade Audio JT1 is better overall and a much cheaper headset. The only advantage Pulse elite has is it's wireless capability and for some reason I can use this headset for more that 1 hour without my ears getting too hot.Unboxing experience:Outer Amazon package was well packed however original packaging felt like it was refurbished or used. The packaging tear strip was already torn and replaced with basic tapes, there was no brand seal on the package.Initially I though I was scammed or Amazon send a refurbished product but the internal contents felt like they were new and unused.I think maybe packaging was opened for BIS certification checks as product month of import shows as March 2024(not sure).Initial first impression:Headset feels cheap specially the plastic and the design is not to my liking,I had seen a lot of videos but after trying on physically I really hate the looks. To make the matter worse I look awkward with it on my head, feels like a egg shaped headset(Humpty Dumpty). But apart from the looks and the cheap plastic feel rest of the headset including the head strap & ear cups feel very nice and are comfortable I was able to wear them for more than 2 hours without my ears getting too much hot.Sound quality & gaming experience:I only play offline single player games. From my perspective the one major feature for this headset which makes it different is its channel separation & the swift change from left to right directional audio,it does give it somewhat of a feel that sound is really coming from a distance.Have not done a lot of testing yet but initial few hours I tried on Standard & bass preset I liked both the Equalizer option.Bass preset makes the sound a bit warmer ,works best with racing games along with games with edm tunes. The only change that I did was lower the last band(treble) by -2 because this has a bit of a sharp tone in the high ends it is not always noticeable in all games but I did found it a bit harsh in a few.The audio is clean, there is no thumping bass(I have not tested it with full bass cranked up) but I could feel some fast tight bass notes. Apart from games when it comes to movies and music I did feel like they were not as good as my cheaper headphone, maybe it needs some EQ on PC or some burn in time. From a gameplay experience it really felt that sound was moving around me also the ear cups make a good seal for my ear shape(I have big ears).I still have to test how it fairs when connected to Windows(with/without dolby audio).Maybe will update after few more day of testing.Cons:1)The box packaging did not felt brand new.2)The look(subjective) is not to my liking.3)The link adapter seems to require a lot of force to plug in and pull out, have tried multiple ports PS5 & PC but all of them have a very tight fit.It seems like the black plastic inside the usb housing is a bit thicker than standard. The amount of force it needs does not seem natural to me and I feel that it will affect either the host usb port or the adapter in the long run as I plan to use this on both my PC and PS5. Did a few google search and found some others are also experiencing the same with their link adapters, maybe a selected few factory defects and I got one of these defects.Hence I have asked amazon for a replacement hoping the replacement comes both in a seal packaging and proper link adapter,if not then would probably have to use some usb female to male adapters or return altogether.Overall for a 13K headphone I personally am not that impressed and it leaves me wanting more.Maybe it needs some burn in or maybe the change to planner magnetic drivers needs some adjustment time not sure but currently my cheaper headphone Fiio JT1 feels overall much better for gaming, music & movies. The only upside for Pulse elite is it wireless low latency lossless sound & imaging. For now have given 3 start because of the packaging & link adapter issue. If my replacement order resolves them then will update my review & rating.
