A great book looking at the evidence
A great book for individuals or groups. A fantastic companion to God's Crime Scene. Another great book by J. Warner Wallace looking at the evidence.

Well worth it, detailed work
This is a participants guide, it is needless to say that it needs the video series. I've expressed my opinion about the video series, so here I will review the workbook itself. Is it worth it? Well if you've read the headline, you know the short answer :)I think it is worth it because it is very nicely organized, detailed, well prepared to work with the video series. It is so detailed that one could even make some use just from the workbook itself if he wants to do his own researching, although it would be a waste of time, since the video series covers all that, but what I wanted to really emphasize here is that the workbook is designed for individuals, questions are addressed and you get to decide whether it makes sense or not, the reader can judge the evidence, look at the proofs make decisions, so very very well built up, organized that although it is First edition it feels like it went through lots of reviews, feedback and testing to suite our needs.Quality of the book is good, the shipping was fast but for those who would like it right away I believe there is a n e-book version too (which is very nice since you might just have a new member at your Bible study group, who just drops in all of a sudden, but can still join in right away - paperback is better though, since you have to make your notes, choices yourself, take notes and revisit them later). If you've bought the video series don't miss out on this book!

Cumulative Case for the Transcendent Creator
“God’s Crime Scene” by JWWallace is a clever application of this cold-case detective’s methodology for seeking answers to important questions. In this book, the question of origins is the focus so that reality can be better understood using the known evidence and asking the right questions. Not surprisingly, just answering the what, where, when, why, how and who questions often keeps it simple. Possible answers for questions of origin (8) are succinctly described. Jim presents answers that are proposed by both the naturalist and the theist, and he is careful to point out strengths and weaknesses of these worldviews. If you want to go deeper for any of the eight origins, ample supplemental information is cited and discussed in the following and ending sections: ‘Case Files-Secondary Investigation (p205-279)’ and ‘Investigative Notes (280-320)p.’ One does not have to be a trained detective or philosopher but just be open to the evidence and be able to derive the ‘most reasonable’ explanation for the origin in question. Finally, If you want to lead a study using this book, additional instruction material can be easily obtained by posting a review, hopefully better than this one. It is an awesome book and i think the origins discussed provide such a breadth of topics that surely everyone will find at least one to go deeper in study so that you will be ready for questions in that area.

Good investigative instructional
This book teaches you the tools to investigate the evidence. To lay it out logically and by using the tools provided helps you utilize those tools to come to a conclusion. He can go through the lesson quickly, we had to stop and rewind a few times. Also I think for group study purposes including some leader tools would be helpful.

Well written, engaging, and thought-proving
This is the 2nd book I ordered by J. Warner Wallace in the Cold-Case series. I read through both the participant’s guide the book. They work well together and I am excited to use them as a teaching curriculum for a middle school group. This guide is engaging with its simple yet meaningful illustrations, to the point explanations, and thought-provoking discussion questions. I particularly like the “Personal Assessment” questions because the participants have to decide what is real or not on their own faith.
