Tidal Fender Flares Set of 4 with LED Amber Side Marker Flat Style for 07-18 Wrangler JK

I got these for my Jeep and my boyfriend’s Jeep. He installed them. A couple of holes did not match up but it was an easy fix. These are super sturdy, feel like they are really well and will hold up very well. We absolutely love them! We’ve both gotten many compliments and have been asked what kind they are and where to get them. Super value and quality product. We both use our vehicles as our daily drivers and use them off road as well. Great find!

Though these are nice looking fenders, they are VERY poorly spec'd for the Jeep Wrangler JKU. There are 1/4 gaps in the body fitment, almost ALL of the pre-drilled holes are in the wrong places. The pieces that the fenders attach to require cutting as they don't fit together. The supplied bolts are 1/8 inch too long so while you're finding out the kit doesn't fit, you're scratching your paint. Alot of wasted to time and money going back and forth to the hardware store and waiting for the forever slow responses from this vendor. My kit arrived with scratches and he told me to put paint on it. 😡 Horrible customer service.

The other reviews were spot on with some of the criticism but I have a caveat to each issue. Initially upon opening the box I thought the fenders were not well made but appear as though they would provide the look I wanted for my 2015 Wrangler. ( Caveat #1) Once they were installed they are very sturdy and looks of high quality , I received compliments immediately. The 1st fender went on without any issue but the other 3 had major issues with hole alignment. ( Caveat #2) Anyone with some base skill can navigate the aliment issues.,I simply reamed the holes with a drill bit on the plastic parts (only) to install the push rivets. Due to the mis- alignment of some of the holes it took longer to install . It takes some effort to get the fender installed over the attachment brackets. (Caveat #3) This became easier with each fender installation . The last issue is it did not have enough push rivets. (Caveat# 4) I went to a local Jeep dealer and they gave me 3 push rivets for free. Overall considering the price, which is at least 1/2 of what a more well known brand may be ,these look great on my Jeep and was well worth some of the issues . The issue encountered reduced my rating to a 4, hopefully the manufacturer will correct these issues.

I have been running metal Smittybilt flat fenders because they were cheap and I had it in my mind that I needed metal fenders. I couldn't justify dropping $600 or more for a set. The Smittybilt aren't horrible but they don't look great, especially the underneath portion. It just looks unfinished. Plus the hardware that came with them was crap and they have you still into your body several places. After 4 years, those fenders were looking rough, pealing paint and rusting, even with keeping my jeep clean and garaged. It was time for something else. These looked pretty good but I was hesitant buying these, in fact I started to cancel the order but they shipped so fast I missed the window. I am very glad that happened. These fenders are great! They look better in person too. My biggest concern was that they would be too flimsy and would flop on the highway or while wheeling. They are surprisingly solid. The plastic isn't super thick but once mounted they feel good and I have no concerns. I will be curious to see how they hold up to dirt and mud cleaning after a few seasons but to be honest, if I jacked one up on a trail, I would buy another set and keep the extra parts as spares. Hardware was good quality, nothing missing and holes lined up except for one. It wasn't hard to resolve myself. Instructions were good and pulling my old Smittybilt off and putting these on took me about 2 hours. The LED lights on the front fenders are great addition as wrll. Lastly, I kept the stock inner fender liners when I put on the Smittybilt fenders and it always looked pretty bad up close. I almost bought some after markets to go with these fenders but WOW! These fenders work perfectly with trimmed factory liners. It looks awesome. I highly recommend taking the time to keep.you stock liners and spend some time carefully trimming them up.

These fenders do not line up with the holes on my jeep nor do they fit right on driver's side.

I was not interested in the metal fenders for a couple reasons, potential rusting and potential to damage the Jeep body when off roading. These were not hard to install, probably took about 30 min to 1 hour hour per wheel. This included removal of the old fenders, cutting the stock fender wheel wells to fit, installing the new fenders and wiring. Overall very pleased with the look.

I originally bought steel fenders from what is considered a top name brand. Within a couple of months the powder coat was already peeling off. I considered paying to get them re-powdercoated locally, but the cost to do that was $60 more than these, so I would have been into the flares for almost $900 with no guarantee it wouldn't happen again. That's life at the beach. Decided that for the price, if I didn't like these it would be no big loss...but I do! We'll see how they last, but right now they look great, feel solid, and being ABS, obviously won't rust.

Don't waist your money! These things have gaps and look really cheap. I ended up sending them back. The pics in the add are very misleading. The fit on these really sucks. Do yourself a favor and don't waist your money. They did arrive quickly and packaged well. That's about the only positive thing I can say about them.
