Abair Road The True Story

It is a Very fast read, inside an hour..
My biggest issue is the lack of a book.. This story is only 75 double spaced pages. I seems fairly expensive for such a small book, and the actual story is only 27 pages. The rest he tells us how his life changed after. It's not that it's written poorly, in fact I think it is written well, but for the price, it seems very lacking

An honestly written account
A short read but honestly written. I enjoyed hearing this man's explanation of the goings on in his area.

Really good book!
Reading this account first hand helps a great deal and makes it far more real. If you live up that way, or just want a very well documented bigfoot encounter, this is it! This big male ape scared the poop right out of this poor cop. If you like cryptid stories, you will love Abair Road.

As an author of an urban fantasy fiction series about a traveling sales person in the Northeast US who discovers that conspiracy theories, criptids, and paranormal phenomenon are real, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to listen to Brian Gosselin tell the story of his Bigfoot encounter and subsequent research efforts firsthand at the Vermont State Fair. As anyone who delves into such topics can attest, many of the Bigfoot people are looking play on the phenomenon in order to make a quick buck. A few television programs come to mind. Gosselin is no such flim flam man. He is a sober, serious, and genuine person. He and several others encountered a Bigfoot in Whitehall, New York when he was a twenty-four year-old police officer.I don’t doubt his sincerity. I also think there is something legitimate to many such sightings.I bought a copy of his book at the lecture and he was nice enough to sign it and allow me to take pictures of his sighting maps. It was a fast read, which is good, because I couldn’t set it down! It covers his encounter, a bit of background about his home town, the media frenzy he endured after the sighting as well as some of the pressure he got to keep his experience to himself, and his ongoing research. Which is VERY current, I might add. His encounter was in the seventies, but he had investigated someone else’s sighting the same week as the fair!Who better than someone trained in crime scene investigation to gather clues? I pass through Whitehall from time to time and I’m really looking forward to finding a state park nearby where I can “go ‘Squatchin” next time I’m in the area!My protagonist is obsessed with hunting Bigfoot in my fiction series, and the more I research it, the more I’m feeling the pull to find the myth myself! Buy Brian’s book, you’ll enjoy the read and this landmark sighting from a very credible witness. You will be shocked when you realise what the truth is.
Abair Road is an account of something that happened to Brian in the 1970s when he was a serving police officer. although this is a short book I think it is great for people who are new to this topic to read. it shows how the attitudes have changed over time and that this topic is one that will not go away. literally thousands of people have had this sort of encounter, most won't talk about it.I am totally fascinated with the creature that we call Bigfoot. What is it's history, how did it learn to become so elusive? Brian will give you an idea just how big and powerful these creatures are.
