It’s a beast, very quiet
Replaced a builders grade 1/3 hp in a new build and was being overwhelmed in heavy rain, plus it was loud as heck and seemed to be kicking on all the time. I installed the 95 in my old house and was impressed so I replaced it. This pump is quiet, and practically sucks up all the water in the pit when activated so it doesn’t go on as much. It’s pretty heavy but I was able to swap it out in about 40 min. Well worth the extra money plus a 5 year warranty

Quality pump
I’ve had this thing about 2 months now. The 1/2 horse sump pump moved a lot more water than the 1/3 horse. Big difference!

my switch failed and flooded the basement
I took pictures of the installation to verify that it was installed correctly. A little shake of the piping and it started pumping.Purchase at your riskIt is only a year old

failed first time
Replaced sump at work with this one, Installed on Friday, saturday we get hit with a massive amount of rain. Came in to a flooded basement with water up the ankles. Pump was getting power, the plug was lit up. Checked the float on it and it was all the way up so it should have been pumping. I grabbed a coat hanger to move the float in hopes it would kick on and before I could hook the float itself, it just started pumping. I didn't even hook the float, just touching it was enough for it start pumping. It than proceeded to pump for the next 2 plus hours solidly. I have no idea what the problem was with this pump but it took 8 hours for me to dewater this basement and another week plus of fans drying everything out. It has worked like it was supposed to since than. I've replaced a few pumps in my time and I never "tested" one to make sure it works so my fault for not testing this one first.Always used this manufacturer, different model but same manufacturer. If you buy this, test it first make sure the float will activate the pump before relying on it.Honestly I think these pumps are overpriced for what it is. I've replaced 3 pumps in 8 years at this business. All Zoeller's and all failed after the 3 year warranty was up by a month or so.The 3rd one I pulled after 2 years because it started not being able to keep up and caused some flooding. (which was what happened with the previous ones so experience told me to be pro-active and replace it now. So I replaced it with this one hoping it would last at least the 5 years it's warranted for. Was not expecting it to not work out of the box and flood on the first rain after installation.I'm not saying don't buy zoeller but I'd seriously do some homework and think about another brand if possible. On the plus side I'm now allowed to install a backup.. Because we can't rely on Zoeller!

Fails randomly
Similar to others, I have also experienced the same issue with the pump not working for no evident reason- water was topped off in the tank, float was all the way up and it had clicked, but the pump had not started. I was very lucky to have witnessed this as it happened or else my semi-finished basement would have been ruined. This is my third time buying Zoeller and perhaps my last, depending on what, if anything, the company chooses to say or do about this issue with this particular pump. I’m not alone and as they say, where there’s smoke there is fire.

High quality pump, runs quietly
I bought this after doing a bunch of homework to find the best quality pump for piece of mind, especially since the sump at this house seems to fill pretty quickly year round and the old pump, while still working, was rusted over on the outside and I had no way to determine its age. I have a backup pump, but I wanted something very durable as a primary and this unit is where I ended up.So far this unit is very quiet (you can hardly hear it outside the room where the sump is) and very powerful. The installation was just as expected for a sump pump and I hope it'll last a long time, as well, but time will tell.
