I have combination skin & sometimes in the process of trying to balance it, I can overdue it in one direction or the other. Usually, I'll dry out & irritate my skin by accidentally over-exfoliating, so this seemed like a great mask to have on hand.The formula spreads evenly, the consistency is similar to a gel moisturizer. There's no tackiness to it, it doesn't get stuck in your hairline. After it soaks in for a bit, it's easy to forget it's on; in fact, that's exactly what my husband did lol. This mask absolutely achieves its intended purpose. I'm always unsure of exactly what to do when my skin reaches a certain point of irritation & this is just what I was looking for. My skin feels incredibly balanced after using the mask, it's noticeably softer as well. It soothes red or chapped skin without stinging it like crazy in the process.My husband & daughter used it as well, they have normal-dry & dry skin respectively & they had great success with it. My husband especially, as mentioned he forgot he had it on for probably close to an hour (instructions say to leave it for 5-30 minutes) but his skin honestly felt like a baby's butt after. It's literally never been softer! This is one of those products I'll be sure to never run out of from here on out.

The Pacifica Beauty Comfort Space Skin Inflammation Calming Mask would be perfect if it wasn't the smell of turmeric. It says to leave the mask on for 10-15 mins or even overnight. Though when applied the mask is sticky and most likely would transfer to the sheets overnight. I just wear the mask while watching tv and then rinse off. It effortlessly washes off and once it does my skin feels moisturized. I do feel that it does make a difference.

I'm a great fan of Pacifica products in general because of their dedication to using ingredients that aren't harmful to the human body, nor the environment. Even their packaging is recycled. This mask for reducing inflammation has a very pleasant scent to it. It's a good helper for angry red skin that's either broken out, or just too dry, as it has ingredients that attract moisture to your pores. It also has azelaic acid in it that helps improve mild acne and conditions like rosacea that can make your skin look puffy and red. I tried this mask on for only 10 minutes and rinsed it off, and my face felt very soft and happy afterwards. I didn't have any inflamed skin beforehand, except for a mosquito bite on my cheek that itched less after I used the mask. The turmeric is also a known anti-inflammatory and has been used in skincare routines for centuries actually in Asia. The bottle says that you could leave this mask on all night long, so it must be gentle. I didn't feel any burning or itching or any irritation after using it, and liked the softness it lent to my skin. I could see giving this to my teen during a breakout to help with calming it down.

I've admired Pacifica for a while because they have a strong commitment to natural beauty and they care about the supply chain + ingredients.My face has been pretty dry, so I decided to give this a shot and I loved how it felt going on and how my face felt all day after using it. They don't list a frequency of use on the bottle (instructions are pretty minimal, actually) but I'll be using this twice a week as the seasons change to keep my skin hydrated.The smell was unique, and it definitely smells like turmeric, so make sure you like the smell before buying this. It didn't stain my face or anything, and you can't feel that it's on. You're supposed to wash it off in 15 minutes, but I could see applying this and forgetting because it feels so light.

It is very easy to pump out into your hand and apply to your face. It doesn't have a strong scent to it, but the scent it has isn't super appealing. Once applied I found this mask to be extremely sticky. It says you can wear it for 10-15 minutes or overnight. I was opting to wear it overnight but after about 45 minutes I could still feel it thick on my face and sticky to the touch and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep with it on or else it would get all over my pillow and into my hair and just make me look/feel gross. It washed off really easily. I feel like it did calm some redness/inflammation overall but it didn't give me that OOMPH that I was hoping. I will use it a bit more when needed just to see, but I don't think I will ever wear it overnight.

Let me begin by saying I have VERY sensitive skin and am always hesitant to use new products. I adore Pacifica (vegan AND cruelty-free) so I felt safe using this. I tried a skin test first and after no reactions did the mask for just 15 minutes. I've been using it every day (no more than 30 minutes for me). I have dry skin that gets irritated from all sorts of things but this mask is soothing and skin-calming. I'm very impressed with this!

This skin mask is very moisturizing and refreshing, I had no issues with irritation, sensitivity or breakouts. Its pretty thick so definitely use it as a mask and rinse off well after 10-15 min.

Good mask, and it helped a great deal with some issues I had in a pinch. Had some raised bumps after waxing my face and they fully went down after two mask treatments. The mask has a very thick and waxy feel to it, and will easily get on everything if you choose to wear it overnight (which sadly worked best for me, but I just applied the mask to my problem areas and put on a face mask over it to reduce the mess). Also is quite moisturizing, and will get your skin soft and glowing in no time. If you're like me and have lots of Hotspots on your face to worry about, this does wonders in possibly helping to reduce (and after regular use prevents) all the flaking and peeling.
