Great lightweight travel blanket!
I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight this blanket is. Ive had other travel blankets that were too heavy or bulky to carry around while traveling and they never go back into the bag the way they should. The bag is perfectly sized so that you can easily throw the blanket into the bag without any magic folding. The labels says its 375 grams or just over 13 oz. It’s machine washable (but I have not washed yet). One side is black and the other side is charcoal. My pics didn’t do well with the color. I love that there’s a pocket in the middle so you can put your phone, AirPods, etc in it while on the plane. There’s also a fleece lined opening under the pocket where you could put your arms through for extra warmth. I originally was going to keep this in my husbands truck because i am always freezing but I love it so much, I’m definitely taking it on flights, too. I am going on a trip this week and can’t wait to bring it. I start with a 4 hour drive, then staying in a hotel for a few days, then fly across the country. It’s winter so I think this is going to be my favorite travel item I am bringing. I’ll definitely update by review if I have anything else to add to this review but I would not hesitate to buy this blanket. Oh…I forgot to add that the clasp on the bag seems very well made. Its a heavy duty metal material. I have their packing pods (have been using for years) and I think its the same material.

It's nice but I'm not impressed...
I travel a lot - nine countries this year (my most recent flight was 32 hours long). I was excited to try this blanket as its pricing puts it into the luxe travel gear market, which is the market most of my favorite travel accessories comes from. But I was disappointed. It's nice but it's just not anything special. The quality is fine, the materials are fine, but I just wasn't impressed and don't think it's worth the current price (unless you only or specifically want trtl branded accessories) or the room it takes up in/on my bag. So I've given it four stars.I'd like it more if one of the sides was microfiber or fleece-lined - just like the hand pouch is lined. Instead, the material of the blanket is silky and sleek, so when I lay it across me on the plane, it falls off and I wake up because I'm freezing again (I'm a window seater and long-haul flights get really cold). All in all, it's a nice little blanket but I wouldn't pay the current price of $109.99 for this blanket.

Thoughtful design
I have other travel items by trtl brand — I love their neck supports. I was a little skeptical when I first opened this blanket because it’s SO thin and lightweight… then I used it on a flight and found that it’s perfect. I really didn’t need a blanket any heavier than this and it’s small enough to scrunch down into my carry-on without taking up much room.Three thoughtful design features justify the cost and make it stand out above the other travel blankets out there: the fleece lined pouch for you hands makes it possible to keep your hand toasty while keeping them easily accessible… not possible is your hands are tucked in under the blanket. The zippered pouch is a nice place to stash my wallet, AirPods and lip balm without the risk of them falling to the floor. The stuff sack is soft and doubles and a pillow. The only strange bit… is the heavy metal industrial strength buckle on the stuff sack. It’s WAY overkill and hard on the face and head when positioned wrong. It’s also an expensive piece of hardware that must contribute to the high cost of the blanket. I own other travel blankets that came with similar roll-top stuff sacks that mimic a waterproof kayak bag… Those stuff sacks use simple, elegant, magnetic clips… that are much more appropriate for this kind of item. Especially considering the size and weight of the blanket — which is virtually nothing!

Lightweight and packable but needs improvement
I'm old enough to remember when even in the cheap seats the flight attendants (all "stewardesses" back then) would bring you a blanket and pillow on request. Now I dress in many, many lightweight layers and bring along a large shawl to regulate my comfort level, especially for red-eyes and night flights where I hope to get some sleep. I think this blanket will help me eliminate a layer or two on my travels. It is, however, lacking in a couple of points. First of all, since the fabric is slippery, it needs a few snaps along the edge so you can arrange it in a way it won't slide off -- at the very least it needs snaps at one end so that you could fasten behind your neck. I haven't decided yet if I will install snaps or sew on some kind of ties, but it needs something. It is slippery on both sides, so it would be nice if the fabric on the inside was some kind of microfleece that wouldn't slide so much. Perhaps this is intentional to keep the weight and size down. But this slipperiness makes it all the more important for there to be snaps or something that you could fasten behind your neck if you don't want to use it as a lap/leg blanket only.I would have appreciated some kind of elastic loop to help hold the blanket together when you are stuffing it in the sack. I will probably sew something to the edge or just a loop to keep in the bag when needed.I'm not that crazy about the Velcro on the bag -- you can't just pull on one tab; you need both hands to pull both tabs to open. I'd prefer a cinch that I could open one handed, especially when I'm trying to wrangle the slippery blanket that is trying to unfold itself while I want to stuff it in.Nevertheless, I'm glad I got this blanket -- I think it will prove useful on trips. Another use I could see is taking it along if you are spending time with a loved one in the hospital. Some of the rooms are awfully cold, and you don't want to be bugging the nurses for a blanket unless it's for the patient. This is something you could easily toss in a tote bag for your own comfort.

Not worth the price!
The seller description is a bit misleading. They list Fleece in the materials, the only part that is fleece lined is the inside of the pocket. Imagine a hoodie style reach-through pocket with a fleece interior. In the first picture they show the rolled up blanket exposing some of the fleece. I expected the whole inner lining to be fleece. Instead it’s the same material as the outside of the blanket, with a similar feel to a lightweight puffer jacket. Initially cold to the touch, definitely not as comfortable as the fleece would be.Another major issue with this material is that it is extremely slippery, so keeping the shoulders or upper body covered is next to impossible, it always keeps sliding. With an already small blanket (55”x 44” or 140cm x 110cm) either a solution to hold the blanket up around the shoulders or a less slippery material would be necessary to make this work. This is clearly a brand that’s trying to market its products at a higher than average price. Asking $109 for a very lightweight blanket with barely any insulating filling and even some loose strings just doesn’t fit the bill. The claimed weight is 375 grams, the actual weight of the blanket only is 282 Grams (10 oz) with the stuff sack 320grams (11.4 oz).Lighter weight would be great for backpacking, but if it’s at the cost of filling material that provides warmth it’s not worth it.The only thing that exudes high quality on this product is the metal clip of the stuff sack. But they’d rather cut back on that clip and increase the quality of the blanket itself. Also depending on how you store the blanket, possibly having it in a backpack or bag while traveling, this metal clip is more likely to scratch or damage other items than a good quality plastic one would. To me this product is a fail and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a good quality travel blanket.
