Fair price great function
Needed a dropper post for a 27.2 seat tube. Not too many options out there and i didnt want to spend $200+. This thing is solid if a bit heavy but works flawlessly. I don't care for the remote lever as its plastic but works. i"ll probably replace that with a southpaw. Install was pretty easy as its external. One tip: try to route the cable so when you drop the post the cable slack pushes to the rear of the bike behind the seat. This way it won't go sideways and hit your leg. Drops is smooth as is the return. Some reviews have talked about slow return and its not "instant" but not an issue. returns quickly. Also i was somewhat worried about only having 100mm of travel. Not an issue at least for me. with the seat fully compressed, it feels very "out of the way" and is so low its actually hard to sit on. Might be an issue if you're doing real DH or Enduro but for trail riding/all mtn it should work fine. Does for me. One of the best upgrades to my entry level HT mtb.

Good value. Works mostly.
I bought one, rode a couple hundred miles on it (on two different bikes) and bought another.I’m a Luddite single-speed rider and was never going to spend $200 on a fancy dropper. But where I ride-PNW- it is steep and it helps a ton to change seat height often. So I got this one and have been mostly happy. The range is plenty. No unwanted vertical movement.Minimal lateral movement.Easy install, mostly.Control lever ok.Raises snappily when seat collar not too tight.A weakness is that the seat does not rise properly if there is too much tension at the seat collar. “Too much tension” can be less than the amount needed to properly keep the post from slowly sliding down in the frame. This gets worse when it is cold out.It is also a little tricky to get the right tension on the cable.Overall, I think a good value and glad to have.

“Does what it says on the tin”
As the saying goes, this dropper post “does what it says on the tin.” Goes down easy, comes up fast, gets well outta the way when you want it to, and is available in 27.2. No significant drawbacks to this post, except to acknowledge, as another saying goes “strong, light, or cheap: pick two.” With this post you get both strong and cheap. Not a bad deal, imho.

It works really well and does it's job.
It's a good dropper for under $150, the one problem I had it that I had to spend an additional $30 on a trigger for it, and that the housing and cable that came included was too short for it to be internally rounded. But thats something I can fix on my own. But it does do the job.

Good Value
If you are like me and your only source of income is a couple lawns a week then this is a great dropper. Otherwise if you had a real job, just get nicer 200-300 dollar dropper. The dropper is super heavy, due to the fact that its so cheap, and its for a 27.2mm. I then upgraded to a new bike and got a new dropper that has 150mm and is 200 grams lighter and costs $230, for me totally worth the money now that I have a job.

Stopped working
I bought this dropper seatpost back in August and I used it weekly taking it on the trails near my house in Utah. It worked great at first and the install was easy. But after using it for a few months at the beginning of November the seatpost stopped working. It will not extend anymore and is completely broken. I took it to a local bike shop and they reassured me that it was an issue with the strut inside the seatpost. I emailed the seller and they asked for proof that there was no visible damage to the outside of the seatpost which I provided to them. After sending the images the seller has ended communication with me. They will not respond to my follow up emails. Poor experience with the seller and the seatpost.

Works smoothly, plan room for cable
The travel works smoothly. To use a remote lever, the cable needs space to slide when the post moves up and down. It makes routing more interesting. There is more than enough cable that you will trim some off after installing the remote. If you choose not to use remote lever, the release for the post is directly under the saddle, which is hard to reach when you are on the bike. NOTE: The lever is some sort of plastic/composite material and doesn't fit over my handlebars (much too small).

Could use some cable ties
The post functions as it should so far. Put it on a Giant Roam. Injured my knee so getting on and off the bike is difficult without a seat that can lower at the push of a button. Perfect for what I need but it only came with 1 cable tie. Need at least 3 to secure well enough to give it room to move. The cable is almost too short for this bike frame (Giant Medium), but the post itself was fairly inexpensive for dropper posts so picking up a longer cable to run it under the downtube where the other cables are is not a big deal if needed. All and all, happy with the purchase.
