Accurate - Easy to Use - Nice Bright Screen
I live sandwiched between the ocean and the desert so temperature variances can be extreme, sometimes varying by 40+ degrees in one day. Also with the California sun the backyard it can be 20 degrees hotter than the shaded front yard. When using my whole house fan it's good to know which windows to open or close, so I decided to buy a multi-sensor temperature monitor and settled on this HOCOSY model. To set up I installed 3 AAA batteries in the base and 2 AA batteries in each of the sensors. The base will work with just the batteries installed but the screen will not be as bright, so I attached the included power cord to a spare USB power adapter. (USB power adapter is not included.)The rest of the set-up was easy. I moved the switch in each of the sensors to reflect their station number, i.e. 1, 2, or 3. The base station immediately recognized them and displayed the individual temperatures (Celsius or Fahrenheit) and humidity percentages. The sensors were all together so I was pleased to see they all registered within 1 degree of each other.I was also pleased to see the display was very crisp and clear and viewable at different angles. The display can also be dimmed from bright, to medium brightness, to barely visible. I like this as I have a weather station display in my bedroom that does not dim like the HOCOSY so I have to throw a cloth over it each night. After that I simply set the time and date. The buttons were intuitive so I did not need the instructions to do so. So far I've put the sensors in different areas of my large house and even with concrete walls I've have not loss a signal. I next need to mount the sensors outside in strategic locations. As these sensors are not waterproof they will need to be installed in a semi-protected area. Note: The sensors have mounting holes in the back. The only things I could suggest for improvement at this point is that I wish that HOCOSY had chosen to put the power cord plug in hole on the back instead of the side for aesthetics reasons. And I wish the monitor was offered in colors other than white.I hope you found this information helpful. And as with all my reviews if I experience any issues or problems I’ll update this review.

Very Nice - like the color coded display
Better than expected range, zero signal drop outs. Very pretty display. Not sure the predictive weather feature is of much use, but adds to the display's look. Can't say much about battery life, have not had long enough and I have the main unit plugged into my computer monitor USB, so display is on when computer is on, display goes off with the monitor power and still can use the 5sec display as needed. Only one remote is outside, the others in rooms to monitor temperature - just what I wanted/needed. Recommended.

A very Frustrating Gadget: Not all channels work
Having had a remote sensing outdoor thermometer, I was truly looking forward to having one with 3 sensors. Here in anchorage, Alaska, the sun is low, even in the summer. In late June, it rises in the north, circles around the sky, and and sets in the north. So, having sensors on the north, east, and west sides of the house was going to be great. I could get air temperature without solar heating.Oh well .....I know digital electronic gadgets and have lots them. I have yet to encounter one as frustrating as this one.To start, the minimal instruction are written in a font so mall that a flea would need a magnifying glass. No digital clock, watch, remote control, or kitchen thermometer featuring such a small type face. The instructions are also minimal. There, for example, no instructions for setting the time and date. I was able to eventual do so after a bit of experimenting and fumbling around. One area where the instructions contain several clear trouble shooting steps is to correct the condition where on all channels are operating. I had to use these, and I did repeatedly. I have FAILED TO GET MORE THAN TOW OF THE THREE channels to work. This seems to be a common problem with this frustrating little gadget.

Button location for backlight is not functional when wall mounted.
Purchased this unit to mount on my wall. When wall mounted you can’t turn the backlight on to see the screen. The button is on the back. Was it to hard to install the button on the top or side? So you don’t have to remove the unit from the wall to see it. Quick fix - I stuck a piece of folded up tape to the button and installed the unit a little loose. Now I just push on the top and the backlight comes on and turns off on its own. This would have been a 5 Star unit with a functional backlight button.

Really like this!
This was exactly what I was looking for! It has a great looking display...much more interesting than most that are simply gray numbers on a backlit background. This has beautiful colors and looks great on the wall! The sensors seem to be accurate and have a great range. I have one down in the basement, and two outdoors. The furthest one is about 100 feet away and I have no issues with it sending its data to the main unit. I would highly recommend this item.

Love this thing!
I really like this system! I have one in my Arizona room, one in my garage and one outside. I keep the main station plugged in using the included AC adapter so I don't have to keep changing batteries.

Effective
Heck yeah, I was debating on buying the lacoss unit from Costco. I'm glad I went with product instead. It's 3x cheaper and the humidity sensors close enough to my calibrated humidity sensor. Also the background of the "weather report" section is holographic looking, an unexpected plus.
