Lighting Science Mirror Finish Vintage Filament Globe LED Soft White Light Bulbs G30, 60 Watt Equivalent, E26 Base, 2-Pack

I ordered these LED mirror finish bulbs as replacement bulbs for my pendant light fixture for two reasons:1. The light is confined and concentrated to the area under the light fixture. The pendant lamp which uses this bulb is suspended over a table. The mirror finish reflects any light coming from the bottom half of the bulb upward into the shade. The light is then reflected downward by the white enameled underside of the metal lampshade, illuminating only the table area below the lamp and not the entire room. A bulb with a non mirrored finish would radiate light in all directions and thus illuminate other parts of the room.2. It uses less energy. Most mirror finish chrome globe bulbs produce light using incandescent filaments which generally use 40-60 Watts of power. This LED bulb uses only 4.5 Watts of power and provides 510 lumens of light.And as an additional bonus, it looks really cool!!!

I really love the one that made it...they arrive in thin factory shelf display box inside a bubble wrap envelope with no fragile sticker, so one was completely shattered.But the one that arrived intact I love...great looking bulb, kind like having a gazing ball above you with the most perfect up-light !

What can I say but absolutely awesome! I replaced 4 mirrored, 60w incandescent bulbs that burned so hot that they would tarnish the contacts, making the bulbs intermittently.These bulbs have the same lumens and burn very cool.I use them in a hanging sconce. They are a perfect fit and look great.

I bought these for a living room fixture that had been bugging my eyes - but these are actually worse. The silvered side is only like 90% of what I can see, and the backside isn't frosted at all, so it really gouges my eyes still.

Using it with a CB2 sconce, integrates beautifully with the fixture like it was meant for it. I love a bare bulb look but the light can be blinding. This bulb prevents that kind of glare while still giving off a good amount of light.

Ordered two bulbs and one box was empty. The one bulb I did receive looks good though.
