They work for me
Please remember that while this works well for me, you may not have the same results! I have used these a handful of times when I know I'm going to eat things that usually upset my stomach, or immediately after eating them (usuallly junk from take-out restaraunts). I have found relief when taking them. It's possible that this is a placebo effect, but I don't think so. I don't get bloated when I use them before eating the junk food, and if I take it after feeling symptoms, I have had relief w/in an hour. I have a very sensitive stomach so it's been nice for me to have these around- now I feel like I don't have to say no to friends when they want me to eat out with them. I have had no adverse reactions to this, so I can't say I feel it's a bad product

Great at lunch
This has been very helpful to add to my routine as I try to narrow down what's going on with my digestive trap. The pills are easy to take and I really trust this brand. I have been more comfortable as I take this every day with my lunch. The effects seem to last throughout the day with my slower digestion. I'm so glad I found these.

Didn't work for me
This didn't work for me. It gave me a stomach ache. It turns out I'm sensitive to legumes. Also my Naturopath said that in his experience, the pea sprout doesn't work as well as the porcine kidney for those with MCAS. That seems to be the case for me. I would prefer pea sprouts for ethical reasons, but I need to do what's best for my health.

Helps with Histamine issues
DAO naturally helps break down histamine found in foods. I’ve found supplementing with DAO can help with some histamine issues. The cooling thing is that it is derived from pea sprouts and not pork. The capsules are also made from vegetable cellulose making for a vegan option. I love that the product is manufactured in the USA and their certificate of analysis is available for viewing.

I wish I never tried this
I was excited that to see there was a new DAO option at a much lower price than the DAO I’ve been taking, so I purchased this. This was a big mistake, however, because it gave me horrible symptoms: rashes and itching all over my hands, extreme GI upset, cramping, bloating, acid reflux, etc.Not worth it!I also question incentivized reviews, especially when someone rated this 4 or 5 stars while clearly stating it didn’t work for them.

One of the few supplements that actually helped my digestive issues
I've tried about every manner of supplement to assist with my digestive problems. This is one of the few to actually provide some relief. The only problem I have is sometimes I forget to take it, and everything hits me like a truck. It's critically important to follow the directions and take the pill some time before the heaviest meal you're going to eat. I will definitely buy more of these going forward.
