I have been welding for about 5 years on some of my construction jobs and this is by far the best and clearest hood I ever used. The head gear is well padded and the auto darkening function is spot on. My welds now look like an actual professional. Definitely a great buy. Will recommend.

Great viewing area.
I am very satisfied with this welding hood. I am thermal sprayer, my 3M hood is well over $600 and I deal with plasma arc daily for hours on end.That being said I bought this for my garage tig welding project. Needless to say, having tig for at least 3-4 hrs straight, this hood does its job for shielding your eyes from arc burn.
