Very attractive, nice reel.
Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful. What a good looking reel. I got this for my fishing buddy's birthday. Actually, it was a replacement for the reel I got him for his birthday. I got him a large casting reel, and it gave him nothing but trouble as he had never used one before. I figured I'd put him out of his misery and frustration and get him a large spinning reel. He was thrilled when he open the box for this reel. I had checked it out ahead of time, and was impressed with the quality I saw. It feels good in your hand, is very smooth when reeling, and like I said before, looks great.

Nice Reel With A Good Finish
This is a very nice reel out of the box. Once you've tightened the handle down, it spins perfectly. There is no hesitation or friction when rotating the handle at all, not even the knob. As for the bail spinning, it's very smooth as well. There's a reverse switch on the bottom that will allow you release line out as well but majority of the time, real fisherman just open up the bail. Other than that, the reel has a good finish to it on the body as well as the spool The anodizing is clean and perfect. The color combination is nice as well. As for the drag, it's pretty smooth and will slow down fish at its own tension. The clicking sound is pretty quiet but loud enough for you to hear. Now as for the stops on the rotation of the bail, is strange. It like infinite stops but there's a 3/16" travel of back travel after every stop. I was hoping that wouldn't happen as my other reels just stop in their own places. This has a small back travel which is a minor issue for some. But as for me, it kind of bothers me. Overall, this is a good reel for those new to fishing as well as the ones that are experienced. It's made with quality and has a good look to it. It's well worth the price as well.

Fishing reel
This is a very nice-looking, blue metallic fishing reel. It was easy to install on a pole. It works very well without hesitation. I ordered the Dkiii-2000. I have other sizes, but I wanted to try this size. The handle is reversible, which is important to me because I am left-handed. Casting is smooth, as well as reeling back in the line. Overall, this is a very nice fishing reel at a very competitive price. I recommend this.

Nice Looking.
I ordered the Dkiii-6000 version of the Teben fishing reel. The reel feels good in my hand and looks nice too. Everything is made out of metal with no plastic other than the handle finger pad, which is made of EVA, a synthetic rubber. The line retrieve ratio is 5.2:1 which is described as "lightning fast". While faster than some reels, I would call the ratio quick, but not fast. The reel winds smoothly and has some carry through on the retireve. I was not able to determine what or how many ball bearings might have been used in the manufacturing. No information was noted on the listing. Not sure how this will hold up to heavy loads exerted by big fish or saltwater use, but it is still a nice-looking reel and will probably serve me well in freshwater. which is where I fish.

Teben Saltwater spinning reel (4000 size) 5.2:1 retrieve ratio, light-weight reel, max drag 25 lbs
This is an attractive reel with an off-blue metallic finish and black highlights. The handle (crank) is of a good length and reversible. The anti-reverse switch is large enough to be easily found and triggered while not being in the way during normal use. The bail is well-sprung and requires some positive impact to auto-close. While somewhat larger (series 4000) this modern reel balances perfectly on rods designed for the old Mitchell 300 series reels. Line capacity on this reel is considerable, capable of 100 yards of .37mm diameter lines. Initially, the action was a tad stiff; but, after a few minutes of use it became smooth and free with no slop.
