RealTruck UnderCover SwingCase Truck Bed Storage Box | SC302D | Fits 2019 - 2025 Dodge Ram 1500/2500 Drivers Side (New Body Style)

Installed in 2020 Dodge Ram 1500. Works smoothly. Easy install. Took about 15 minutes to install the first one, and and 5-10 minutes to install the second on. I liked the first one so much, I got one for the other side.With these on, you could put about 2 or so sheets of plywood in the back end of the pickup UNDER the Swingcases. If you had a large load of 4x8 material, you could just take these off, load the plywood, drywall, etc and then just set these on top or in back seat til you get the material unloaded then just put these back on. To take these on and off, it literally takes about 5-10 seconds. If you are wondering if they are theft risk because they come on and off so easy, they aren't. You can lock a little mechanism that comes with the Swingcase so that they can't be removed until you remove the gadget with the key. This would add an additional 10 seconds to the removal time. I have the locking gadgets on mine right now, with the key for them in the center console. The lids on the boxes themselves lock also, with the same key that locks them in place. When they are locked in place (as in theft proof), they sill swing open. I gave only 4 stars because they are not made of a heavy duty plastic that I have seen on other pick storage boxes (just rectangle ones, not swinging ones). Some of the boxes you see are made from a kind of black plastic that you can just tell is practically bullet proof and crack proof. These are good plastic, but that "upper tier" that I've seen on other black plastic storage boxes. Probably not a huge deal, as these do not bang around in the back of a pickup. They stay in place, so they should last for a very long time. They do cover up the bed lights, but if a person wants to, they can swing the boxes, and the lights will now light up the back end.

Fairly easy install but was hoping for a little bigger in size

I bought the left and right for my 2019 Ram & they fit perfect. Install was easy & took about 20~30 to install each. I'm old & slow, so some might install quicker. Since I have a shell I felt these are perfect, but if I did not have a shell I'd be a little concerned because the are poly or whatever type of plastic. So with no shell I'd go with all metal, but that is just my opinion & no reflection on these as I probably will never know how well they hold up in the elements or how easy it would be for someone to break into them, not that metal units will prevent anyone from breaking into either. I am on the cities emergency response team so these hold everything that I need nicely with a little extra room for my towing gear.

My wife ordered it for me for Christmas. I really like the box,easy install. Good quality. Works great for what I needed it for.

I just installed this in my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited. We had originally wanted a truck with the RamBox system, but they were hard to find in a Limited. After talking with a friend who owned a truck with the RamBox, he said he didn't like how to causes you to use some bed space. We saw this product and thought it was a great solution. I wanted something for the bed to store tools, tie downs, hitch great and other stuff but would not interfere with the tonneau cover we have on the truck. This is the perfect solution.There is plenty of room in the one box to store a 2" hitch w/ ball, ratchet straps, bungee cords, hitch pin and other odds and ends. It fits great under the tonneau cover. It does block the passenger side bed light, but I can always swing it out or remove it if needed.It is super easy to remove if I need the added bed space and keeps all the lose stuff in the back organized.

The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 one for each side. Installation super easy and I thought great functional. Smaller than I anti ipated but not big deal. Problem is they have a latch that goes through the box pre-made shape and apparently it's not very strong. I didn't really use them much and very little weight. Then I noticed latches would function because plastic was very thin were it support s it at the end of spring latch. I think I came up wth a solution but this happened to both so.

The media could not be loaded. Just received and installed mine today. Been needing something to keep my tools from sliding around in the bed of my truck but was hesitant to buy this because I was unsure if I would be able to latch the handle of my new hard tonneau cover. Fortunately it tucks in just behind it perfectly. In order to latch and unlatch the tonneau cover, you do have to swing the swing case out first but it works! Aside from part of the hing being broken as shown in the pictures, it seems to be good quality. Installing was super easy taking less than 5 minutes. The only issue I foresee is not being able to access the tie down located underneath the mounting bracket. I will keep this review updated with any changes.
