It's OK, but No Great Shakes
It is useful if you are taking your dog on a hike or trip. It is messy. You have to screw the bottle away from the cap and screw it back on. During the process, some water leaks out. When you squeeze the bottle when it is erect, a little water falls outside the pan where the dog drinks. Still, it comes in handy and it's only $6. Thus, the 3 stars.I would think the best way to minimize water leakage is to fill the bottle with water and then pour it directly into the pan. But this cannot be done if you are on a trail with no water facility.

Didn’t think this product through
The dispenser is only useful if your pet drinks all the water at one sitting. Once the water is in the bowl, you aren’t able to put the top back on the bottle. You aren’t able to reuse the water. It’s not mobile for walks. It’s only good for 1 short event. My dog is only 12lbs. I have to bring extra water if we go to the park or a long walk. It’d be easier to use a bowl. The product is sturdy, it is well made, it travels well. Not impressed. Too lazy to return it.

Good for on the go
For the price this is perfect for traveling or going to the park with a dog. My dog refuses to drink straight out of a water bottle and I don't love carrying around a bowl. However you should closely monitor your dog when they are drinking because one playful bite and I think this could break. I have a puppy and if I wasn't watching him he would try to use this as a chew toy.

Looks like a great find!
The review is by visual inspection only! I received them and they were actually better than I expected! I have large no Xtra Large Dogs and I think it will be fine for them as well as my baby one! If is as good as I’m feeling about it it will definitely be worth the few dollars it cost!

Seems durable and easy to fill.
Hoping this will be a handy way to bring water along for my dog, while hiking. He loves drinking fromy water bottles but ends up making a mess!Seems durable and easy to fill. I'm glad I bought it! I’ll update once I get a chance to really use the product and find out how durable it is!

What a great product!
This has worked so well -- you can hang it from the leash so your hands are free, it holds plenty of water for medium-sized dogs and is easy-to-use. It even has a pour feature from the basin so you can pour water they don't drink back into the bottle. LOVE IT!

Perfect for my needs.
This is just what I was looking for. I hook the bottle to my dogs leash and off we go. She knew exactly what to do when I put it on the ground. Great product!
