I think I last used a hairdryer in the late 80s, favouring a buzz cut ever since and now a full head shave out of necessity. However, we got this for the spare room as there are plenty of visitors that ‘do’ things with their hair and a couple have asked for a hairdryer.So fast forward a few decades and I am amazed at how powerful, light and quiet these have become.To my mind this is an excellent unit for the price, it has three heat settings including cool, warm and hot with a corresponding visual indicator. It also has two fan speeds - the top one is very powerful indeed.There is also talk of positive and negative Ions, I don’t fully understand the impact on hair but guess it makes it less flyaway - anyway it has that too.There is an air-filter at the bottom of the handle that is a touch loose and spins round, but you are supposed to hold it a bit further up I think, so no big deal.As a spare or travel hairdryer I don’t think you can go wrong.

The hairdryer arrived well packaged in a sturdy box.On opening, I liked the shape of the hairdryer.Small and compact with a diffuser attachment.It’s 1500w power is not as powerful as my old hairdryer but it still dries my hair quickly.I like the 3 heat settings, cool, warm and hot and the dryer lights up to show which setting your on.It’s light to hold and use.Would recommend.

Great hairdryer, can’t find fault with it. It’s not the most powerful but that’s offset by the fact that it’s quieter than most. Lower power though doesn’t mean it loses anything as far as performance goes as it dries hair very quickly. Great ease of use, light so handy for travelling. Would definitely recommend.

I have waist length, fine but thick and slightly wavy hairthat has a tendency to get a bit frizzy and flyaway when freshly washed, so I usually only part-dry it with a dryer. However, if I'm styling it properly, I'll dry it thoroughly with the dryer. I was keen to try this one, which looks very sleek and stylish.Unpacking: the dryer arrives very nicely presented in a minimalist but stylish box, very suitable for gifting.Inside is the dryer, a concentrator nozzle, a multilingual instruction leaflet and a card with a Q code to link to after sales service... in Spanish and Italian but not English. If the listing hadn't described the dryer as 'dark grey' I would have said it was black - if it's grey it is indeed very dark. It's a very elegant design, with the air intake at the base of the handle. The cover over the intake is removable, allowing access to clean the very fine mesh filter when necessary. The power lead is 1.5m long, and comes with an attached silicon cable tie - a nice touch. The whole package gives an impression of good design and quality.The first thing I do with electrical appliances is check the plug and fuse: the plug on this 1500W dryer is correctly fused with a 13A fuse, and the moulded plug fits properly and tightly into the power socket.In use, the dryer is easy to manoeuver and manage one handed. The control buttons are easy to operate and silver, so very easy to see against the black (sorry, 'dark grey') of the body. I always find hairdryers a bit loud, presumably because they tend to be close to the ears; and this one is no different. But some noise is to be expected and this is no worse than any other I've used, and quieter than some. it dried my hair efficiently.Overall I'm very happy with this dryer and can't fault it. Recommended!

For the cost this hair dryer seems amazing. It’s a long time since I’ve needed a hairdryer so my wife has reviewed this.The hairdryer comes in a nice strong box, good enough to give as a gift. Taking it out of the box what struck me was how well made the hairdryer is. It feel absolute quality, no loose parts and every component seems to be top notch.It is simple to operate with 2 power settings, 3 heat settings and it comes with a directional nozzle if required.From a power point of view it is very very strong, medium setting is good enough. It’s good that it has a cold setting, again the medium is spot on. If anything the top setting may be too hot.I can’t comment on the other benefits offered such as anti static, as a hairdryer it is brilliant.I have seen the other top end hairdryers that can cost well over £100 and can say that this compares favourably.A definite 5 stars for this, recommended.
