Duck Brand Indoor Heavy Traffic Carpet Tape,1.41-Inch x 42 Feet, Single Roll, White (286375)

Excellent for woodworking projectsI frequently use it to attach patterns to wood blanks and use the pattern with a router following bit to cut out the wood shape as the pattern.I used 1/8" hardboard as the pattern, then press on the Duck tape, use a razor blade to remove excess, then remove the Duck backing and press onto the wood blank. Very very secure.A router following bit presses against the pattern and cuts the wood black to shape. As you can imagine its very important the pattern be held strongly. I have done 100's of patterns using this tape and this technique.The tape has a fiberglass mesh embedded which adds strength and gives it the ability to follow irregularities in the wood allowing to stick well.The adhesive is strong and holds the pattern very securely in place.If the tape is left on for a long period it may leave a residue but it easily cleaned with a solvent like mineral spirits.Some pictures attached provide an example of using this tape to hold patterns in place.I can get several uses from a single tape application to a pattern, about 4 uses. I carefully pry off the pattern and the reapply the saved backing so I can reuse the pattern without putting on new tape.I previously used Duck carpet tape (no P/N on inside of roll) but it had a much larger mesh and perhaps more aggressive adhesive then the 44260 product. I bought the 44260 sight unseen reading that it had fiberglass base in the hope it was the same stuff Ive used all these years. Not quite the same but worked very well and Im pleased.

So far holding the rugs in place but it will never completely come up without some real effort

Second time buying this product. This carpet tape is awesome!!!! I have a beagle that gets zoomies and chews carpet edges. I tried this and no more! He no longer moves our family rug across the room and no more chewing!!! It was extremely easy to apply and had held up after we took the carpet up once. I have tile floors also and the adhesion is still great!

I was super excited to get this tape, I spent almost $100 on a set of 4 area rugs (runner, big area rug, and 2 smaller square rugs!) however they don’t have the sticky rubber on the bottom to keep them in place, and my entire house is hardwood floors. I have 2 children and 1 cat, I don’t know how those rugs get moved like they do, but atleast 100 times a day I had to fix them. I’d be holding the baby walking and step on the rug and slide and about fall with the baby🤬 someone recommended this to me and said it worked great for them, so I was ecstatic about this!I’m not sure if it was a manufacturing issue or what happened, but one side was not very sticky AT ALL, so it isn’t sticking to my floor which defeats the whole purpose of this tape. It stuck to the rugs just fine! But not the floor. I followed the directions to a T, sweep and mopped under the rugs, made sure it was completely dry! And yea didn’t work. I wish I would have been able to find a spot to contact the seller first instead of giving a bad review, because from what I’ve heard this stuff is awesome! But I can’t give a good review on my experience today!😫 I’m super bummed!!!I’ve tried sooooo many different things to get these rugs to stick and so far NO LUCK! But the shipping was on time!

This has been in use for a few months now and there has been no shifting or de-adhesion. It's carpet tape and it does carpet tape things very well.

I used this double-sided carpet tape to apply carpet treads to a 4-Step Pet Stairs and it was easy to apply and the carpet doesn't budge. The Pet Stairs were too slippery for our pup to use so I found a set of four carpet stair treads at another online store and cut them to size, applied three strips (two on each stair and one to apply the carpet over the lip of each stair) of double-sided carpet tape and the Pet Stairs not only look nice but the custom carpet treads are firmly attached thanks to Duck Brand Carpet Tape! The order was well packaged and arrived within two days after I placed the order. I am very happy with the end result of this project.

I used this to attach a rug pad to my kitchen carpet. It is VERY sticky and stuck them really well. I would be worried to use this on my floor because it seems like it would be hard to get off. Works really well for attaching rug pads!

This is fantastic. I have a large area rug on tile and having trouble keeping it still. Just corner style want keeping the edges down and people were still tripping over it and causing the edge to curl. This stuff is Great. Simple to apply and keeps the entire edge secure.

i did a lot of research and was looking to put a clear plastic matt down as i have really light carpets.i tried many double sided tapes but this one is actually really good and it lasts a long time. when it stock i tried moving around and i could not, other wise i would've taken some of the carpet out with it.So moral of the story is, it is perfect for what i needed but make sure you put it on right the first time. After six months i was able to move it around with lots of difficulty ( it took like 5-8 minutes) a bit but it did take a bit of a carpet to be honest and it does leave a adhesive residue which needs to be washed with warm water and washing up liquid.in short it does what is says.

Good brand and looks tough .though I haven't used yet .

Excellent product

This is honestly an amazing product. I didn’t know what to expect, but it has exceeded anything I could’ve thought to expect. I wanted this because I have two bathroom mats and an extremely small bathroom, so with two bath mats in a small bathroom it’s very easy to have water get on the floor, from this sink or shower, plus my bathroom door is extremely close to the ground so it runs over my bathroom mat and other adhesive’s I have used would eventually get lifted from the bathroom door constantly dragging over the mat as well as the general water spillage. I only put the adhesive down about a month ago and I can say these mats are stuck to the ground so firmly I am beyond impressed! If you need something to stick down any types of mats I can guarantee this is the perfect product!!!

I ended up using this tape to seam together runners through my home for my senior dog. I decided not to stick it to the floor as I was concerned with potentially damaging the hardwood as the adhesive is very strong. The runners have rubber on the bottom and so far I am pleased with how the tape is holding up with keeping the seams together.
