Why is the tape like this?
Could you explain why the tape is like this? It's totally unstuck. We have had about 12 fires since we bought it and applied it.

Good item at reasonable price
The item arrived somewhat later than scheduled, probably because of a combination of Christmas post and Covid-19 issues. It is of good quality and well priced.

Not self adhesive
It’s a decent enough door seal for my wood burning stove but has lost a star for not being very self adhesive. A spot of heat resistant glue is also needed to keep it permanently in place.

Very useful
I've used this to seal the door. It's an old stove in a recently purchased property. The door is warped so I've stuck this to the stove itself and all airgaps now sealed where rope itself does not work. Works well
