Bought first pair a couple of months before my Sons wedding and started practicing with great results. Took them to Australia for my Sons wedding and my DIL loved the results on her hair too. I used them to do her wedding day hair and left them in Australia for her. Bought a 2nd pair on my return home to UK . Fantastic purchase , great results

I got this wand to replace an older Remmington wand of the exact same shape and size. I was replacing it because the buttons had worn out. The buttons on this one are again not super sturdy, so it does need to be treated delicately I'd say.I have fairly thin hair, but I just could not get this to create any kind of lasting curls, even on the hottest setting! Even using hair spray, the best curls I could get from this sadly fell straight out.I think the problem is the keratin-protect coating, because I had this exact same Remmington wand but from one generation before i.e. without the keratin-protect coating, and it created fabulous curls for me!So, this wand probably prevents your hair from getting heat damage, but it also might not curl it, which is very disappointing.Some positives: I like the safety feature to turn itself off after an hour. And It also comes with a thick plastic protective pouch for storage and travel.I paid £25 for this, and I think it costs more on Remington's own website. But if you do decide to get it, be sure to go to the Remington website, click the 'extend warranty' banner at the top of their website, and enter the model number to get an extra year warranty incase it fully breaks.In my opinion the glove they include is too thin to properly protect your skin if you accidentally touch the wand when it's hot, so I always use my own thicker glove.Overall, unfortunately I cannot recommend this wand at all, as even on the very hottest setting it just wouldn't curl my hair well, despite the fact that I'm used to using this same type and make of wand (without the keratin-protect coating) and getting great results. This wand really really didn't work for me and I wish I hadn't spent the money, sorry.

The temp options are brilliant. It takes seconds to heat up. You can take thin pieces of hair for tight curls or larger for looser bigger curls. Brilliant! Colour is gorgeous and the heat glove an added bonus

Great, easy to use hair curler

Good value for money. Does the job. I found I needed to keep my hair around the barrell for a bit longer compared to other tools for the curls to last for 6-7 hours. But this might be just my hair. I didn't find the special heat setting that amusing and do not use it anymore. But overall, if you are not planning to use it every single day, it is a great tool with a very reasonable price.

After years of always curling my hair with GHD straighteners, I wondered if I could get a different look with curlers, having cut my hair shorter. I read lots of reviews, and this was a brand that came recommended as a high street priced alternative to the other high scoring brands that were very expensive. I'm still getting used to using the heat glove but really like the end result. Glad I have them.
