These are very well made shoes, they look smart and they are great for t’aI chi. They have non marking and grippy soles, and they are proving very durable. They are a lot like wearing a leather glove for the foot. All in all the shoes are excellent. I think the quality is 5 * but I’ve rated them at 4* because of sizing: I’ve had 2 pairs - and the fit is small with quite a narrow forefoot/toe box for the stated size. The first pair were ordered for my European size and were not uncomfortable but were very firm. I ordered a second pair, but one size larger. They came with a polite note saying ‘our European customers are finding the fit is a bit small, so we’ve sent one size larger’. Thoughtful, but my shoes were now 2 sizes over and were just a bit too big. It’s a complete dilemma to know what size to order, or what size you might get!

These shoes are perfect if you train on carpet or hall surfaces. The leather is good and does not flake off. I would never use these shoes for any contact or pad-work as the leather would probably become damaged as it's so soft. The shoes mould perfectly to the foot with excellent grip if you train on slippery hall surfaces. They don't cut into your heel or ankles. Great foot flexibility and look really smart.

The shoes come out a bit smaller than the marked size; to compensate they send one Eur size larger. ( eg 42 for an ordered 41). This doesn't work so well if you have tried the shoes and know which size fits you! But they are very charming about replacing with the correct size.

An extremely good and comfortable pair of training shoes at a decent price. Well worth the money. Just be wary of the sizes as my UK size is 8.5 (42.5) and I had to get these shoes in size 44.

Tai chi

So happy I ordered these shoes for my Tai Chi class. The fit is perfect. I'm normally a 6.5uk and ordered the 40. Very comfortable.

I am very happy with these shoes. It feels very comfortable. It is the best Tai Chi shoes I have ever had.
