Milenco Van Door Security Lock

A well designed piece of equipment which will certainly deter small boys and non-determined criminals. It is secured by four large PK screws and was easily fitted. It is neat, strong and a wecome addition to my peace of mind. I am delighted I saw it on Amazon and very pleased with the product. It arrived very soon after ordering and was just as advertised.

Excellent deterrent, as someone scanned my remote locking key and stole some tools. But has a few draw backs on installation.Warning:1) do not slide the cover plate on base plate, it locks into position and is a pig to get off.2) If you have fitted the base plate with the two pins, do not slide the cover plate fully over to align as it will be impossible to get off i.e. get access to the fixing screws underneath.3) It must be fitted to two flat surfaces, check with a level, otherwise the slightest bow, the lock will not function right its a smooth tight fit. I fitted mine to back doors of my van, and they are ever so slightly bowed. I had to pack one side out slightly for it to function correctly.4) It must be spot on level for it to work, your drilling holes in bodywork which you can't make mistakes.Follow the above and you won't go wrong, comes with a template, simple to install if your handy person and won't take you long. No tools stolen since installation. Can't really compete with the price, took a punt on it, lost stars to stupid instructions.My own personal view would be, if you got the money get slam locks fitted.

Easy to fit, looks good and doesn't look out of place on my white Combo van. Not totally convinced that it is 100% foolproof, as any determined villain would probably be able to jemmy it off, but used in conjunction with the van alarm it will certainly slow them down.

Easy to fit & very effective, nothing will ever 100% secure your van but this is a great piece of mind & a good deturant
