They won't stop you from getting blisters they just change where you get them.
The verdict is still out on wearing gloves or not. I have gotten worse blisters with these than without them but I have found a use for them. They give me blisters in different places than without them so about 3/4 of the way through a 10 mile row I put them on and it does seem to help. If I wear them the entire row I get massive blisters in the bends at the base of my fingers. The gloves tend to fold into that area and give you a blister. As far as the quality they are ok but the rubber friction imprint on my has started coming off. Not really a big deal but why go to the trouble of adding if it is going to peel off eventually?
