BeActive Acupressure Knee Brace

I am floored. I having been experiencing what I guess is sciatica/sciatic pain for at least a year now. I'm a labor and delivery nurse, so being on my feet for 12 hours at a time and standing in odd positions while I help patients push has taken its toll. The pain wasn't excruciating, but constant and bothersome to the point where I would sometimes use heat to try to lessen the pain. Driving is especially uncomfortable, and I have tried special seat cushions to no avail. I was skeptical of this product, but with the reviews being mostly positive and the price point so low I figured I had nothing to lose. I am telling you, the very INSTANT I put this on, the pain was gone. Not lessened, GONE. I wore it through a shift at work and wanted to cry I was so amazed as I couldn't feel the pain at all even by the end of the shift (when I am usually pretty uncomfortable). After I took it off I did feel some of the pain return, but nowhere near as bad as before. The only complaint I have about this product is that the seams where the elastic is sewn to the brace have plastic sealing on their ends and are a little irritating/scratchy. However for the price I paid for this I am quite willing to find a way to work around that problem, probably with silk tape. The directions do contradict themselves a bit, saying the "R L" should be in line with your knee, with the pressure pad oriented almost towards your outer calf. For me, the "R L" end up being off center if the pressure pad is in the right spot (see the picture). All in all, I am extremely pleased with this and wish I had tried it much sooner.

I have suffered from sciatic nerve pain for years and it's gotten progressively worse lately. I am in Cardio Rehab but I've been unable to walk more than a block before needing to sit down. I noticed from the first time I wore the BeActive knee brace that could walk further with less discomfort. The relief seems to be progressive. The more I wear the brace, the better I feel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from sciatic nerve pain.

After just a few uses the elastic strap came lose from the stitch where it holds to the back of the brace. I have owned a pair of these for a few years with no issues. But these new ones must have cheaper manufacturing standards. I am very disappointed. I’m still using my old pair but just wanted a newer pair as these are old and getting worn out. And of course it broke literally a week after the return window ended on Amazon. So I wasted my money. I won’t do that again. I’ll find a similar product that has better quality.When they work they help my nerve pain from spinal stenosis a great deal. But when they don’t work they’re a waste of time and money.

This simple brace is a lifesaver! My husband had pain from sciatica so severe that he almost couldn’t walk. He began to skip activities because of the pain. He had been to the doctor several times and tried various medications and even a tennis ball under his hip, nothing worked until he got this brace. This order is a replacement as he has worn out two already (over several years time). He wears it everyday and can walk without pain. He loves it and I love that something so simple and inexpensive was the answer. We highly recommend the BeActive brace for anyone suffering the pain of sciatica.

Bought this for my spouse who suffers from sciatica. I never put much faith in most of these "As Seen on TV" things, and I would not buy it from the TV commercial because you are pretty much forced to buy two units. When I saw this here on Amazon, and the fact that I was able to purchase just one unit I thought, what the heck...give it a try. He wears it all the time now, says that it really seems to help more than he would have thought possible. So, apparently some of those made for TV products actually do work. I cannot say what benefit another person might derive from it because everyone is different, and the source of their discomfort or pain may also be different, but for sciatica it does seem to be of benefit.

I'm not absolutely sure how this thing works, but it works for me! I suddenly got some excruciating sciatica pain that almost totally immobilized me. I was desperate! This product took away about 60% of my paint almost immediately. It allowed me to function daily so I could work, get to the doctor and get treatment. It was a total life saver and worked better than popping pain pills all day.

I had to stop what I was doing to write this review! I put this item on and within 3 mins of getting it where it needed to be and wearing it I was able to lift my leg without pain for the 1st time in months!!! So many of these "quick fixes" are to good to be true... NOT this one is the real deal! It fit my thick calf not problem barley even know it's there!! I was not given this product for free i was not asked for my review for monies or any other product exchange or placement this is just MY honest opinion!! I am a bit country and apologize for my run on sentences and poor grammar! Please take the time to try the product out!!

I have had 5 back surgeries over the last 12 years including a two-level fusion. A few months ago I began having severe, intermittent sciatic nerve pain, AGAIN. After an MRI, it was determined by a neurosurgeon that I need some type of intervention. Because these docs are booked out so far in advance, I couldn't get in for another few weeks. The problem is that I'm going on a once in a lifetime trip to Australia. I have tried every type of pain management to get me through it- steroidal inflammatory medication, tens unit, ice, heat, etc, to no avail. In desperation and with very little hope, I just received this brace. I was very surprised that it WORKED! I had to adjust where the pressure point was posisitioned but I have found relief. I have never reviewed any product before but had to write about this one.

I work nights in the care sector and have done for over 30 years so taking strong pain killers is out for me. I suffer really bad with sciatica so purchased this yesterday.I had my first full night of unbroken sleep in years last night 😀 , even getting up and walking down the stairs the pain was greatly reduced . I would highly recommend this product, wish I brought it years ago

This item arrived Saturday first time I have gone to bed without pain in my foot or leg however seam to get a bit more pain in the back but this is so much more bearableSunday done my kayaking coaches update for 8 hours with an hours driving each way no pain in the foot or leg brilliantWould advise to wash it daily more so with the hot weather as it did make the side of my knee soreI bought this thinking it would be a waste of my money but it's the best value item I have bought for ages

Amazing piece of kit ! I am a carer and my client had a very sore hip/ leg and was struggling to walk. I ordered this on Thursday evening with Amazon Prime, it was delivered the next day at lunchtime. I took it to my client and put it on at 12:30pm. At 4:30 she phoned me to say the pain was gone, she was delighted. Maybe she will need it again we shall see but it was the best thing ever, we shall see in the coming days. But 100% so far

Bought this in the hope that it would help my problem, it fits perfectly, but to be honest, unfortunately it doesn't really help me, I'm sure it may help others, but was worth a try.... Shame really as I was counting on this. Delivery was speedy though!

This is GOOD, I would recommend it to everyone who suffers with sciatica, this takes the pain away completely.Highly recommended.
