Buy this and you'll never look back.
Works great and is easy to use. The little cone shaped plugs help align the pen tube in the mold and also make running end mill down to the tubes easy, and since the tube is plugged you dont get epoxy filling up the tube like the ca glue does when your gluing a tube into wood. I always make sure I have this bad boy ready to go when I'm pouring epoxy on other projects. It makes a great place to dump the extra epoxy, since I always seem to mix too much. To sum it up, you should buy this. Buy this and you'll never look back and wonder "why did I buy this?" Beacuse you will be too busy making sweet pens.

It works, but a bit pricy
Not sure why this mold was so expensive. It's a decent mold, but it has some flaws. Wish they made one for 10mm tubes.

Great product.
Very nice molds for pen making. I really like that I don't have to glue the tubes in the blank.

Makes a versatile pen style even more versatile!
Works perfectly. I cast my own tops and turn purchased blanks for the bottoms to create a lot of fun and unique pens!

Make sure customers are told these molds are for slimline pens in the 1st sentence
I would have loved to known these molds were for slimline pens only. I don't turn slimlines. Now I cannot return the mold. That information should be the first sentence and not the last sentence.

Deceptive on how small the casting is
I know it specifically states slim line pens. But no where does it say what dimension the casting will be. When I received it, and found that the final casting will be only 1/2 x 1/2. If you do the math, this is super thin amount left there you can any type of beads or cove before you start hitting your pen tube. I am returning it and going to look for something that produce a slightly bigger casting.
