Peshtemal towels absorb the water very well even if they are thinner than terry towels. In old times, Peshtemals were indispensable for authentic hammams. Today, they are not indispensable not only for hammams but also widely used as bath towels, beach towels, picnic blankets, scarves, sarongs, throws etc.

Love these!
These towels are great! They really do get softer and more absorbent with each washing. Nobody in my house wants to take the regular beach towels to the pool anymore. And as a bonus, you can use it as a wrap and it looks really cute.

Pretty, but don’t work
Hey all- really love the look of these towels and they are super soft after washing. The only problem is THEY DON’T WORK. Tried to use after my shower and was just as wet after using as when I’d first gotten out. No joke. Hair dripping wet. Back to the old traditional towels. Will use these as throw blankets in the warm weather.

Don’t hesitate!
These towels are exactly what I was looking for! They are soft. The fringe is nicely tassled and the colors are vibrant. They are great for the beach, on a boat.... I even use mine as a light weight blanket on the couch. The price was great! They are well worth it!

Large cozy towel & great customer service
Like the large size and softness. We use mainly after sauna, so a super absorbent towel is not necessary. Also nice to use as a light blanket on summer nights on the deck. Will see if they stand the test of time... Great customer service after a misunderstanding in desired colors. They fixed the problem immediately and were very responsive.

Perfect size.
Used at beach. Great to lie on on the sand. Easy to wash and dry because the aren’t real thick. You can do a lot in a large load. Can be used as a throw, towel, beach towel. Love the colors and texture.

Good quality and fast shipping. Use as our family pool towels. Super absorbent (after a couple prep washes) and dry super fast.

Awesome towels.
They are large, soft and come out well from the wash (not tangled). I got 1 color duplicated on a couple (the dark blue) but did not mind. They're a great value!

too much LINT in dryer! must air dry
beautiful towel but too much LINT in the lint trap even after 4 washings! makes my dryer overheat! when will it stop?ah- when I start line-drying these towels! I'll try that
