Lightweight and very comfortable. I have not had them long enough to judge the durability of the soles but they seem reasonably solid. The waterproofing has yet to be tested in a prolonged downpour but they have withstood repeated exposure to very wet fields. They were good value (under £90) and have received good reviews from various sources.

Bought a size 8, fits to size, very lightweight but feel sturdy and have good grip at the same time.Did a 10 mile hike in the Peak District in the rain and they held up brilliantly, no water got through and feet stayed dry.When buying check different colours first as prices vary greatly, I got the grey/blue pair and they were over 50% cheaper than the green even though it’s the same shoe.Highly recommend these as great all round hiking boots.

Thought I would try these as my keen boots have done their 1000 miles and needed replaced.Light pair of walkers, feel and look sturdy enough we will find out 500 miles down the road.They feel like a tailored suit would snug and tight, only difference as any wanderer knows...feet swell up eventually the longer you trek, I would advise a half size bigger for anybody looking at throwing these onto their feet.Initially, a good buy at a reasonable price only time and miles will test the rest.

I found the added stiffness in the sole makes them ideal for rougher paths, though they might take a bit of getting used to if you prefer a more flexible feel in your footwear.One small drawback is that the break-in period took longer than expected, but once moulded to your feet, they are quite comfortable. Overall, they are a reliable and sturdy option, especially for unpredictable weather and tricky terrain.

Bought these boots as a replacement to my old boots, they feel very nice underfoot with great grip and comfort. Definitely worth looking at.

Wanted a mid ankle shoe/boot that was waterproof and comfy. Wasn’t after anything for more than watching my son’s football matches and not having to wear wellies or hiking boots. These have been great so far…I am a size eight and bought an 8 which I wear with a thin second-sock which is perfect. The shoe is comfy straight out the box and the grips are amazing. Been through long grass and showers and no wet feet. They are also extremely light. Well done Columbia!

Really disappointing, not waterproof at all. Feet get wet when walking in wet or frosty short grass. 6 months in both boots cracked between the laces and the toes.

Very comfortable but not waterproof at all. Wear a pair of sealskins

Very comfortable hiking shoe. I have worn on several hiking outings and my feet are not as fatigued. Stays dry passed the ankle level for walking through deeper puddles and steams.

He failed to tell me that he is wide width but when he put theses on he refused to let me exchange them for correct size because he insist they are comfortable. He's a carpenter/jack of all trades and says the grip is amazing. They are waterproof. Doesn't worry about wet feet, easy to get on and light weight.

When it comes to hiking boots, I only buy Columbia. I bought this exact pair a few years ago and bought them again because of the quality and comfort. On pair 3!
