My Escort: A Contemporary Romance

I absolutely loved Clover from the very second I started reading this. I could relate to her easily and wanted so bad for her to be happy again. This was such a seamless story that flowed easily with little typos. I didn't feel rushed to read about Clover and Damon's story, but I didn't want to put it down. Great job Kia!Clover works as a personal assistant for a big magazine, she thought working here would make her happy. The thing is, that her jealous witch of a boss makes her life hell. When asked to show up to a function with a boyfriend she gives in not wanting her boss to win, and calls an escort. Little did she know that her stunningly handsome old fashioned escort, Damon would challenge her and make her question her happiness. On the other hand, little did Damon know that gorgeous stubnorn Clover would be the one to heal his broken heart. Follow along on a beautifully told love story.

This was a sweet romance book with all the details of first love. I couldn't wait for Clover to do something about Debra because I was starting to get frustrated with Clover. Damon is a nice gentleman with some roughness around the edges. This was a light and heart-warming story of finding love. I felt this passage from the book depicted Clover and Damon journey, "We all have places we must go, further places to visit. The ones we resist returning to are the ones we fear. There is a ghost that scares us." ~ Damon.

It was ok. Aside from some grammatical errors and gross overuse of the word "whilst," I felt the story itself was pretty far fetched and unrelatable. Also not very consistent, as in, why would a self-proclaimed "strong" woman be such a doormat? I feel like it needs to be rewritten and perfected.

Most of the people who saw the title of this book while I was reading, assumed it was something raunchy and played out. I would say that in reality, it's a great story that speaks to most people. A great portrayal of how you can get stuck in a rut whilst chasing your dreams and every now again, you need someone (or something) unexpected and exceptional to help pull you out and guide you towards your personal greatness.

I dearly loved reading this book. It is not your typical romance story. The story is about a woman who is just exciting in life. By a brief encounter, her life is turned upsidedown. But her's isn't the only one. I leave the rest of the story up to you. I recommend this book and author to anyone who loves a good romance with a delightful twist. I enjoyed this story about a hardworking office girl who is breaking her neck trying to please her difficult boss. When she is pushed to find a date for an upcoming event, a friend gives her the number of an escort. She decides to hire him for the night but things don't go exactly as she has planned and she finds more to him than she expects. Their relationship grows and they both find something they have been looking for.

A sweet predictable plot with both the H and the h wounded and a bit lacking in the backbone department. It actually felt like a romance novel fit for a YA reader. Nice cover but there are much better adult romances available.

Damon and Clover make such a great couple. This is a clean read.There is a lot of purple stuff in there: purple sofa, purple flowers, purple bathrobe and the list goes on. It wasn't annoying or anything; it was surprising and funny and the same time.Not too much drama, just enough and easily taken care of. Lots of happy and tender moments, but not sappy. Absolutely loved the end.

Loved this book. This was about a girl who was pressured at work, to organise all sorts of things she wasn't comfortable about doing. She desperately needed a partner to a work's affair. her friend suggested an escort. The story involved around Clover and Damon.
