I've been using the Hair Styling Powder for Men for about a month now and it’s been a pleasant surprise. Arrives as two individually boxed products.Simply unscrew the lid, remove the sticker and you are ready to use. I've found that shaking directly on to dryish hair works best, rather than pouring into your hand. However, you do need to make sure that you rub it in, and any white patches of powder will dissappear.Although it doesn't look really change the appearance of your hair, it does give it a decent hold and can be restyled somewhat. Good if you finish off by applying a hair product on top.Only downside is that it is quite hard to wash out, and always feels like there is residue left over, no matter how much you try and wash it out!

Can be used by men, boys or ladies who ever needs a lift in there hair do. I have used this product and it works. Just a sprinkle in the hand, rub together then work into the roots of hair. Just gives a bit of volume and definition to the hair. My hair is long so use this when I go out out on my long hair. Great value at £7.99 for two, reduced for black Friday.

I never liked or used any styling methods with my hair. They either leave your hair greasy or too dry, plus they make the hair shine too much and most of them have a very intense scent. But my hairdresser used a styling powder a couple of times, with some decent effects. Hence, I wanted to try this product.It ticks some boxes. It's definitely non-greasy, there's also no scent or shine. It's fairly easy to apply too.The two boxes are really small. At least half the size I expected. Luckily it's powder, so a lot of it goes in a small tube. But if you intend to use it on a daily basis, it may last just over a month.The consistency is that of cornstarch. You need to make sure you apply it to moist hair and best get it on your palms first, then run through your hair.The effect is dependent on how much powder you apply of course, but hair definitely gets some volume and the hold is decent after they dry out.The problem for me is - they feel pretty stiff, like after using hairspray. That feeling stays with you all the way until your next hair wash. And it's not super easy to wash it off either (but not as difficult as after some waxes or gums I had).One more issue, which may be just me - my scalp felt a bit itchy after some time.There are days when you may want or need to use a hair styling method, like those windy days where you don't feel like wearing any head cover. Especially when your hair grows a bit. Would I use this powder? Perhaps. A while ago I found a styling gel that isn't greasy, has a great hold, doesn't shine a lot and washes off beautifully. The negative is a strong scent (but at least a nice one). This powder isn't expensive - for £10 you get a month's supply. 3 stars from me though, because I'm not too happy about the itchiness.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

You get two bottles of this texture powder so it’s good value for money and means that if you want you could keep one at work and one at home. I really got them for my wife - my son uses something similar which she’d tried and liked. She said it shouldn’t be marketed as men’s as it’s equally effective for women! She finds it does improve the volume of her hair, especially if it’s not a day when she washes it. The only negative point is that she said it leaves a slightly sticky feel to her hair after use but not bad enough to remove a star.

This is great stuff for natural looking hold and volumising your hair. Although aimed at men I am a lady with long hair that is thick at thr ends but a bit thin and flat at the roots. These come I a little pot with a sprinkler (like a pepper pot) just sprinkle some on and run your fingers through your hair and it instantly adds volume and hold without noticing any of the product. It made my hair have great lift, volume and made it look much thicker so the product is great value for money and is suitable for men and women and I would highly recommend it

I really like this product which is very easily applied - a couple of sprinkles rubbed in from the hands and you’re done. I wouldn’t say that it volumises to a huge extent but something is certainly going on. I find that it changes the texture of my hair somewhat, which becomes slightly sticky but not unacceptably so. However, my hair is barely an inch long at the moment, so it’ll be interesting to see how it behaves when it grows much longer. It’s definitely a product to experiment with and find out how much works best for your hair type and style. Although, the two pots are quite small, a little does seem to go a long way, so this product is undoubtedly excellent value for money.
