I got the 10 pound salt, but having trouble understanding how much I need to add to pond. pond is about 900 gallons.

I have a 3500 gal.koi pond. Do I need to use the whole bucket in the pond and how often do I need to add the salt to the pond?

Do you add the prescribed dose even for a 50% water change or do you add half the prescribed dose?
