I bought this pet carrier solely for the purpose of biking around with my Maltese dog. We are joined at the hip! This is the best carrier I have had for him. He likes it better because it is much more sturdy and has little bounce for him. It’s a bit roomer than the last one and it’s deeper which he likes. Remy can just lay down and it’s deep enough that the weather doesn’t bother him; especially when windy. I know this model can do other things, but I only use it for my dog to cruise around with me. My only complaint is the side pouches could be deeper. His water bottle fits fine, but mine not so well. Overall….if you are on the fence on what carrier to use on your bike, I’d wouldn’t hesitate to purchase. (Truthfully, I was hesitant at first…now Remy and I are happy campers!).

The basket is the perfect size for a small dog on the taller side. We have a Cavapoo and she has long legs so she sits taller than what a regular small dog would. I purchased another basket first but the front was cut lower so she would literally fall forward if the bike stopped. I obviously returned it and decided to try this one and it’s perfect. The top pull closure is perfect so it closes around the the top of her shoulders and keeps her in place. The straps are sturdy and well made, and the basket itself is of good quality.

I felt the quality of the product with great. I can't speak for the durability because I couldn't actually use it. My dog really didn't want to go for a bike ride, sadly. He was going to continue to try and get out of the basket. I really wanted this to work for us, and thought he would really enjoy it. But he was just too anxious about it. It was very put together and easy to attach to my bike. Seemed very sturdy.

My dog is only 6 pounds and a half, but she has long legs. She has enough room.This carrier works well for her. I have an electric bike, and the basket gently touches my fender, and I don't have any problem because my dog is lighter.Be sure to have enough room because it is pretty deep.. I like the rigid sides and the fact that there is some ventilation in front.I am doing only 10-15 minutes until she is comfortable. I use only asphalt roads, and the carrier seam stays in place. Not sure if would be the same for a dog above 10 pounds.I have two way to make sure she is safe, the short leash that restrains her and the mesh at the top.

My (Japanese Chin) dog is 12 pounds and has a longer torso than most chins, but this basket fits her perfectly. Her weight does not cause the basket to slip down or anything like that. The basket stays in place the entire trip.My Puff gets nervous and at times gets wiggly or starts to try to stand in the basket. I have always had time to stop the bike and calm her. She has never had a fall or even close and the basket stays in place and does not cause the handle bars to sway. My dog hates riding in the dog bike trailer because she can't see and gets nervous. This basket is a better option for her. She tends to be a nervous passenger but because she is up front and can see, she is able to remain calm and even seems to enjoy the bike ride. Also, I can pet her if she gets nervous.The basket fits my mountain bike but I had previously bought a part to raise the handlebars for comfort. The basket has a lead and I attached that to my dog's harness. The lead is a little long and near the top of the basket so I wind it around the handle bars to shorten for more protection for her. I do wish the lead was from the bottom of the basket to better prevent a fall, but it still does help protect her. There are reinforcement pieces that fit into the built in pockets. You can take these out so that the basket folds flat. There is a comfy little cushion at the bottom of the basket. I do open the window flap. Wish it rolled all the way up, it sort of flops down about half way so the window is really more open near the bottom than the top. I do like that she feels the breeze and keeps cool.

The inner safety leash was incorrectly sewn into the bottom back of the basket instead of the top back of the basket. My dog cannot use it. I'm totally disappointed and will be returning it. Other than that, I really liked the product, but my dog should be able to lift her head! She really enjoys being inside of it. I don't ride a bike, but I tried to use it in my car to keep her from jumping around. It doesn't work so well if I cannot keep her inside of the basket due to the incorrect placement of the safety leash.

This was much more sturdier than I expected. Works great for our 13 pound dog.

Came packaged well, looks nice and feels sturdy when the inserts are in place. Dog was not so sure but calmed when we started to ride. Test ride without weight in the bag was great and no rubbing or anything. About a mile or so into our ride dog settles down, and starts facing forward rather than the handlebars. Front of the bag slips down and is on the wheel. I stop, tighten the straps down again and continue our ride. Pick up the kiddos from daycare and head back home, adjusting the bag again as the dog has shifted. half way home bag is running AGAIN! I tried to tighten it more but with brakes and shift cables there was no way to tighten it any more and tried to hold it up, off the wheel the last two miles home.My full ride including testing was just under 10 miles.I have a 2" handlebar extension on the bike.Tire to bottom of handle bars is 15", their guide says >14" but is measured from the fork to the handle bars, not the tire to handlebars. This is a measuring mistake on my part and why I am not saying they are at fault and demanding a refund.The measuring although very direct could have been clearer by giving from tire to handle bars rather than fork to handle bars. with the 2" extension you can see i am at 15 inches, and the forks start about 4" over the tire. I therefore have 11" of clearance and need at least 14. without the extension I would be at 9" and be 5" short of their minimum. This height requirement is drastic by their measure.With such a short ride and the wear and tear on the bag already I don't see the material holding up for an avid rider wanting to bring the pup for a ride or for anyone wanting to transport their pup.I should mention my puppy is about 8 lbs less than half their stated maximum.

This was a good buy. It was easy to assemble and attach to my bicycle. My little dachshund loves it; we trained him in the house with it at first, then on the bike but not moving, and then finally we biked around the neighbourhood. He sometimes is up on his front paws looking out and sometimes curled up inside watching out the screen.

Works and happy shih tzu puppy, but is ideal for small dog not xs or medium, no huge then for my puppy but now grown and perfect, my puppy is comfortable and chill, did try to jump once and didnt succeed thanks to the bags inner leash. Happy with this

I have a 18lbs Jackabee and have been using this for a month now. Have been using it to carry on my back, most of the time at the front to transport her in the shopping mall. Dogs aren't allowed in the mall in SG :( Tried hanging it on my bicycle and cycled for around 20mins. Whisky seems to enjoy it very much and she did has some space to rotate her body so that she can see the other side of the view. Very sturdy and beyond my expectation! Hopefully it will be able to last abit longer as my dog is still gaining weight and soon will be exceeding the max weight! Overall, very happy purchase!

Myself and my 23 lb pug loved it! It worked great and was super easy to assemble.

There aren’t enough stars in the world for this ! I’ve been searching for over a year for a carrier for my Boston, she’s 23 pounds and this fits her perfectly. She LOVES going for bike rides in it . Good quality, has lots of compartments, has a hook to secure your dog. I can’t say enough good things. Buy it
