Grimm's Rainbow, 6 Piece, Pastel

I’m very into sustainable Montessori toys. I HATE plastic and avoid it as much as I possibly can. Grimm’s products have never disappointed me. We have a small collection and I plan on expanding it as my child(ren) grow. I have this and the medium attached pastel beads with plans to slowly add items to the toy box. We buy exclusively organic materials like wood and cotton, and where I do think there are some great alternatives out there to Grimm’s, they are still the best. I decorated our nursery with neutral rainbows and even though this is pastel, it fits in nicely. Nothing pops on a nursery shelf like a Grimm’s rainbow!As the baby’s motor skills develop we plan on adding blocks, the cubes, and definitely the mushrooms to stimulate the imagination. I hope to have a complete collection one day! These toys are completely timeless and absolutely beautiful workmanship.My only complaint is that it came wrapped in plastic. Please find a way to make the packaging sustainable!

Really love this wooden rainbow, it’s well made and looks lovely in our nursery, I’m sure our little one will enjoy playing with it when she arrives!

This was a gift for my twin baby grandchildren. I am an advocate of open ended play, and my granddaughter uses it in lots of ways.

These are lovely wooden arches. Lovely pastel colour and beautiful to the touch.

I love our Grimms rainbow. Each rainbow is carved from one piece of wood and has the character and individuality (and flaws!) that a natural product would have. Rather than painted, each piece is dyed, which means they're safe for even tiny ones. The open ended play opportunities are wonderful. Tunnels, towers, marble runs, doll house walls - ours have been everything :)

With this price, I expect a good quality product. But when I received it, and I was shocked by The poor quality and think it is absolutely overpriced as the paint is not even. I have to return this.
