GildanWomen's Heavy Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt, 2-Pack

I really like these T-shirts. They are well made and a great price. I think using adjectives like sheer. Soft and stretchy are not appropriate. If you use fabric softener they are soft but I don’t think they would be without it. And as for heavy cotton how can you possibly consider that sheet? As for stretch it is like most heavy cotton t shirts, some give but not stretchy.I would definitely recommend them and I would buy them again. I bought both black and white and am using them as tops underneath other tops.

Bought these to use for pajama tops. Some other reviews say that it's "scratchy"...I wouldn't say that, but the weave is tight which makes it less stretchy, more dense. This works great for keeping its shape and for layering. You should be aware of this though. It will soften a bit with a few washings. It has a snug fit, so I would order up if you want a roomier fit. I think this was a good deal for the money. My daughter (25 yrs.) borrowed this tee and loved it...asked for the link...hmm...wonder if I'll get it back.

I've been wearing these t-shirts, size XX-Large, for a number of years. I particularly liked them because they fit me perfectly and were made of a fairly thick and non-stretchy fabric that did not show much of what was underneath them. I just got a few more, and was disappointed to find that the sleeves are too long and the fabric is thinner and stretchier than it used to be.

Reviews were not so positive. Mentioned more than once that the shirts were somewhat scratchy. Mine arrived yesterday and have had one on all day, not only do I find it adequately soft but also not at all see through as I have reviewed in several reviews. I am so far completely satisfied. Have a couple of more on order. After I wash all these and they go through the dryer that will tell the real story!

Fabric is cheap and the arms are too short as well as the body of the shirt is too snug. I wear a medium and this is too small and uncomfortable. Going to try to return them.

I purchased both this Heavy Cotton shirt and the Softstyle from the same brand. This one fits well. The fabric is a little scratchy, but it is good for the price. The Softstyle was very small in comparison. This photo shows the Softstyle on top and this heavy cotton on the bottom.

I ordered these black shirts because of the 100% cotton to wear under some of my short sleeves and for the summer heat to keep me cooler. I started reading reviews after ordering this and was shocked to find that some reviews complained of being cheap quality or scratchy material. I tried to cancel my order but was to late so it still arrived. I decided to at least take it out of the package and look and I was Very Surprised to find the quality reviews are what I received. Both my black shirts are good quality, very soft and I ordered a large and it fit just how I liked it, not to snug. I will wash in cold water and maybe hang to dry to keep from shrinking, but even a bit of shrinkage would be fine. I highly recommend the black shirts.

Pack of 2, the price is great, they wash well, they did not shrink, though I do not tumble dry them, the neck is not too big, a problem I find with many t shirts, the fit is good [I ordered the xl as I am size 18 ish] the length is good too. they were delivered in 2 days. I will almost certainly order another pack.

Ordered the ladies large two pack black. Washed and dried both at the same time. One is softer cotton, one is rough and more faded after drying. Body and sleeve lengths are several inches shorter in the rougher shirt. Ridiculously lacking in quality control. Will not buy again.
