My wife and I frequently play catch with each other in our fenced-in dog park along with our yellow lab. We toss a ball back and forth while the dog runs along in hope either of us will drop it. I thought a set of pickleball paddles would make our game even more fun and I was right. It takes a little practice but once you get the feel of how much force to use it's easy to underhand lob balls a good 20-25 feet away back and forth.If you're new to pickleball, the paddles are larger than ping pong paddles but hard like handball, rather than badminton. If you ever played whiffle ball with a bat, as I did as a kid, the thick, plastic pickleballs are pretty similar, if not identical, to what I remember.Best of all, if the dog gets hold of them, she can't instantly damage it before we have a chance to get it back!Bottom Line: Very well-made paddles that are durable, comfortably balanced in the hand, and easy to keep clean.

this set is a good starter pack, it comes with 2 nice paddles and 2 standard pickleballs. the rebook paddle uses fiberglass surface, that's a bit better than the basic surface from paddles that many poses in this price range. the grip is decent and the weight is not an issue, these paddles are ideal for rookies and kids.

I started playing pickle ball with wooden paddles, and upgraded my set to this one made with fiberglass. What a difference! This is the set to get if you're a pickle ball enthusiast or just want to start off with a nice set rather than upgrading down the line. The set comes with 2 paddles and 2 balls, and I do notice how different it feels in my hands. It's lighter, the handles are super comfortable, and overall the quality is pretty premium feeling. This is my first pickleball set but these paddles feel pretty nice. The balance feels relatively centered with the center of gravity a bit towards the top of the paddle so swing follow through has some momentum - it'll come down to preference but I think I like the balance. The colors are nice and neutral, making them seem professional. I know there's a lot with bright colors or designs which make them look like toys. This one has a sense of maturity to it that I like. The handles came shrink wrapped but the overall packaging was meh. They basically throw in both paddles and balls into a box. There was what looked to be a cardboard separator, maybe to keep the paddles apart, but it was packed to one side with both paddles on the other... so maybe it reduced some jostling during shipping? Overall I like this set and could recommend it.

My son wanted to try out pickleball. This was a great starter set as it came with two paddles and two balls. We were able to go straight out to the local park and start playing. It was so fun! The grip was perfect with a sticky easy to hold texture. My only complaint is the rubber band at the top of the handle kept flipping up as I played. It was more annoying than a functional issue. Would purchase this again.
