Shimaly Women's Short Length Petticoat Above Knee Underskirt Half Slip Crinoline

Overall decent for the price but WAY too poofy for my dresses! I cut out the middle layer of crinoline and that helped a bunch :) I’m 5’2” so this length was perfect for my knee-length dresses but might be too short for some taller ladies.

We made this fit perfectly under a fit and flare dress purchased here on amazon. My daughter pulled the waist part up very high on her waist (above the natural waist) and the corset back part of the dress fit nicely over the crinoline. It gave her dress the perfect amount of flare, was not uncomfortable, and didn’t show under her dress. I’d buy this again for a dress like that. Well-priced and nice fit!

I'm very happy with this petticoat. I bought one of these petticoats maybe a month ago- the L-XL. I was happy with it but I craved more poof so I bought another one- the S-M this time. I got the L-XL first because someone said that the small size is difficult to get over larger hips, which I would agree. My hips are 35in and I had only two or three inches to spare when stretched out. If your hips are larger than 38in I recommend getting the L-XL. (In the last pic I have the waist stretched out over my hips so you can get the idea of how little wiggle room there is.) The L-XL was a little to big for my waist (29in) and I ended up having to pin it so there's a tradeoff.The petticoat is the perfect length for lolita that reaches at at or just above the knee! It was exactly what I was looking for!The poof of only one petticoat is good, especially for the price. I layered the two I bought for maximum poof and I love the silhouette it gives. I probably couldn't have gotten such a good petticoat for cheaper. It does deflate a little through the day but nothing a quick puffing up can't fix.Overall I'm super satisfied and would definitely recommend this!

It took a while to fluff up because it’s packaged really condensed and I was afraid that it wouldn’t fluff up at all but it thankfully did. Just took a lot more elbow grease than I normally deal with. I tried this on pulling up the legs and had no issues, so none of that over the top obnoxious shimmying needed. My hips are about 40” so that can be hard sometimes. I put it on over a big sweatshirt too and I still have plenty of stretching room. Very happy for the price. It also does a nice job with the lining over the elastic and on the inside to avoid being itchy. I’ve had some really itchy petticoats in the past, this is not one of them.

Three stars: The material, length, and "poof" were what I expected for a 15 dollar petty coat but the elastic waist band couldn't fit over my hips. The quality was decent it's a generic tulle. It did feel a little stiff but would have probably softened up with wear. It did come with a "how to care for the garment" card which was nice.Additional star: they participate in the Kohl's return thing... Where you can return it to participating Kohl's and not have to pay return shipping. Which is super convenient for me since there is one right down the street.

Bought this to use for an 80's Madonna costume. The length is good. It hits above the knee, but isn't super short. I like that the top layers are sheer, but the bottom layer is opaque, so I can wear fishnets or sheer tights without needing additional coverage.

I won’t lie, this isn’t the poofiest petticoat in the world. However, it does have a surprising amount of poof. The petticoat I received actually has more poof than the stock images, and can hold up the weight of all but my heaviest jumperskirts and works amazingly under my lighter dresses. The fabric isn’t itchy and there is a costume quality polyester lining which actually feels pretty nice. The seams are pretty tough and there were no loose threads, but I don’t know how well this item would hold up in a washing machine, so I recommend washing it by hand.

VERY lumpy on waist. Crunchy material, not net. Made hips look huge which it would not have done with a smooth waist.
