High quality and my wife loves me more!
The media could not be loaded. I used to have a similar one back in China. I’ve tried several non-stick pans but was never satisfied until I bought this one since moving to Canada. Teflon is definitely unhealthy so why not use a steel pan like this which doesn’t stick most of the time? All the the NON-STICK pans I’ve used turned out to be STICKY at the end of the day.I’m not a chef but a good pan matters most!Try this and you won’t regret!

Solid Sauté Pan with Convenient Features
The 5.5QT Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Sauté Pan is sturdy and heats evenly. The detachable handle makes it easy to transfer from stove to oven, and it's dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. The size is great for larger meals, though it is a bit heavy. Overall, a reliable addition to the kitchen.

Very good. 4 1/2 Stars.
I really like this pan, but it's not quite true love. I have been using a 12" cast iron pan almost daily; so much so, that it essentially lives on the stove. I thought I would give this stainless pan a try. I gave up Teflon and other non-sticks years ago. Anyway, I digress. This thing is huge! It's almost hard to believe it's a 12" pan, but I took a picture of the measurements just to show you. This is 5.5 quarts, so obviously it holds a lot with its deep vertical sidewalls. The handle is as advertised. It stays surprisingly cool while cooking and requires assembly upon arrival. Extra hardware and a small wrench are provided. I recommend wiggling the handle as you tighten the acorn nuts to make sure they are properly seated, and don't over tighten them. Because of the pan's size, I removed the handle to fit it into the dishwasher, which is easily survived, but I think I'll just hand wash from now on. In the short time that I have had it, I used it for crab rangoons, quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches, and a cheese omelet. Call me crazy, but I can actually tell the difference in the flavor between cast iron and stainless cooked foods.Hand washing is pretty straightforward; it does come clean with no staining. For what it is worth, I did put a magnet to it, and the magnet does stick (magnetic stainless steel).I wish this pan had a heavier bottom, which is the case with most quality pots and pans, but it does seem to work well despite this fact. Its high walls make things a little more challenging, like with the omelet and grilled cheese sandwiches, but with some practice, I am sure I can get some technique down. I can see how this pan would be great for other applications, like skillet meals perhaps, especially with its large capacity. Maybe it's just a matter of using the right tool for the right job. As for now, I am satisfied with the test run. Pretty good pan overall, especially for certain jobs. Bon Appetit!

Nice size and cooks well
I try not to use unhealthy non stick pans and am always on the look out for a quality pan. I would call this a medium quality pan. I like the helper handles and the glass lid. When using it for cooking, it has cooked evenly and nearly perfect. No need for high heat and I believe high heat is not necessary or recommended anyway. Even when frying and searing with this pan, the clean up has been simple. It depends on if you’re use to stainless steel pans and how you begin the cleaning process while it’s still warm. For the price, this is a good pan.
