I really don't like working with 12-2 wire, especially in junction boxes where using wire nuts with four 12-2's can be a pain. These Wago's made the connection really easy. They're pricey, at least the 5 hole ones that I bought were, and they're slightly bigger than wire nuts, but well worth it. I'd also take the time to read the user's guide that arrives in the packet, that way you'd realize much sooner than I did that you have open the lever the full 90 degrees before you insert the wire. I'm giving these things my highest compliment: I'd buy them again.

I love using these little guys. Use them quite a bit when working on HVAC wiring. Hardly ever use wire nuts anymore and they work great and offer a nice clean solution for when you need to connect multiple wires together.Have even used them when wiring up the flatbed on a snow plow truck just to see how they would hold up to the elements and they are still going strong a couple years later!

Takes less space and is less error prone than wire nuts.

Definitely like these. They definitely work. They clamp well on wires and... well they just work. One thing that concerns me for longevity -- the levers, when in the closed position, sometimes will pop up a bit. Not all of the ones in my 10-pack did this so it could be a QC thing. But in general, happy with what I see here and have put these to extensive use in automotive/under dash application.

What is there to say? They are Wago Lever Nuts and they just work.I have started using these instead of traditional wire nuts around the house and I love the ease of use combined with the ease of changing a circuit later without stressing or mangling a wire.

I really thought I was going to break the nut as I tried to open it for the first time. But then when I realized how much pressure I had to use to open it, I realized it would hold my wires really tight.I was able to get 3 18 gauge stranded wires in 1 of the slots, and it's really hard to pull out.I recommend these nuts for time saving, and a tight secure connection.

I have been a wago user for over 20 year. They are all that can be used in railroad industry and most of the marine industry given their cage clamp design. Now they made a smaller device that was push in but it didn't hold as well as these since they use the full cage clamp design.The people whom are having intermittent connection or claim they are not clamping the wire tight enough either pushed the wire in too far and it's clamping on the insulation or they didn't strip off enough insulation to begin with.The cage clamp design is proven to be the best connection available and this does not disappoint. Please keep in mind this has 5 connections available so if you use 1 as the input you only have 4 outputs. Some of the reviews just didn't make sense.

Adding circuits to an older car can be difficult. When changing the ignition switch, I ran a hot and a switched fuse from each. From there I used these connectors to run power to new AC and transmission modules and to stereo and amp circuits.

Especially good where connecting different gauge wires such as when installing household light fixtures
