For the most part, a great product and a big help
This monopod has been a big help. Even with the image stabilizer on the camera, my hands are shaking more and more. While I am not happy about that, using the monopod has helped a great deal. It collapses easily and fits in my backpack, adjusts to many different heights and I really like that it can be used as walking stick also. The biggest suggestion that I would have is that the ends should be covered so there isn't something sharp or sticking up when not being used for the camera. It would not take much to supply an extra cover or even a case. I am sure I can devise something to resolve the problem, but the product would be better if it just came with something. Otherwise, it was a great buy, and has been a big help.

This monopod is sturdy and well made for the price
This monopod is sturdy and well made for the price. the extra 3/8 adapter is cool if you have other devices that don't have 1/4 inch thread. supports most mid level dslr and gimbals. Five mini sections allow you to adjust the height as needed. I'm not a pro photographer but this is great for amateurs getting into photo video

Very lightweight, not very strong
This monopod is compact and very light. That is mostly because it is cheap plastic, therefore it has a ton of flex and the legs will retract under enough pressure even when "locked." It is overpriced for the quality you receive, but it also unique compared to most monopods in its lightweight quality.Recommended:• Lightweight cameras, not full frame DSLRs• When something small and lightweight is needed (long hikes, for example)Not recommended:• Heavy cameras• Use in situations where flex would be an issue• Use when downward pressure would be put on the monopod when extended

Would Not Trust as a Hiking Pole
I picked this monopod because of its short length when collapsed. It will fit perfectly into my daypack. When it is fully extended it's a comfortable height for me because I'm 5'2". I don't think I'll trust this as a hiking pole though--it's too flimsy for that purpose imo. Also have to double check that each joint has been tightened when extended--there isn't a lot of turning involved to tighten a joint which I view as a con since it's too easy for the joint to loosen again. Can't beat the price for sure. I did not want to spend a lot of money because I'll be using this on a trip to Alaska and didn't want to chance damaging an expensive monopod or have to lug around a more bulky tripod.

The handle and strap are comfortable. There is a rubber pointed tip on the ...
I bought this to use for a variety of electronic items -GoPro Hero 6, Digital Camera and Video Camera to offer some steadiness when using. It is well-made, though, I probably will not use it full-force as a walking stick so as not to damage it. It telescopes out with a slight twist of the different sections, so you can make it as short as needed or up to 5 feet. The handle and strap are comfortable. There is a rubber pointed tip on the bottom of the pole.
