This bit is a one of a kind. Not only does it cut the dovetails but it also puts a small round over on top to prevent tear out.

Expensive but good quality

Easily cut through MDF with a 2.25HP router with single passes. The eased edge on the top means no sanding required (time saver!). After routing one slot, you can use a dovetail clamp to clamp a guide/fence for your next slot.

I bought this so I could make a jig to extend the front edge of my Saw Stop PCS. It worked great along with the dovetail clamps made to work with it. Highly recommend.

I tried a regular dovetail bit and it worked OK with my dovetail clamps. I had to usually shimmy the clamps through the slots to get them to move. This router bit is perfect for these clamps, they slide through the slots with ease and make using the clamps much more enjoyable. I was a bit skeptical but found it was well worth the investment.

Great bit for MatchFit grooves. Do yourself a big favor and buy their 1/4” bit to rough out the excess material. This will save the extra wear and tear on this dovetail bit. The 1/4” straight bit has a slight radius at the top of the groove and the dovetail bit finishes the job perfectly. You will find yourself routing grooves in lots of jigs & fixtures.

These are like air shims. They are pricey for what you get, but they are a great solution to a common problem, so it is worth spending the money. I use them for a special table I made for cutting scribe strips on kitchen installations. I have been trying to find a good clamping system for this table for years. I had sliding tracks but they never worked well. I even considered reengineering a sheet metal worker's break. The dovetail clamps solved the problem perfectly, and for less money than some of the other solutions I was considering. So I bought several sets.

The bit worked well but I didnt notice the line marking the height the bit should be raised to but once I saw that it was great.

Cette fraise de défonceuse type queue d'aronde pour l'insertion des serre joint de la même marque est géniale.Il y a une marque de référence sur la fraise pour indiquer la profondeur utile à l'insertion des serre joints.Je m'en suis servi sur mon établi en hêtre et sur du chêne elle fait un travail très propre. il y a aussi l'indication de tour minutes à respecter bien sur.Cette fraise ne semble pas adaptée pour les assemblages à queue d'aronde car les pointes de cette dernière sont arrondie et non pointue comme les fraises prévues à cet effet.ATTENTION. elle est en norme impériale, la queue est en 12.7mm (1/2 pouce) et pas 12mm.bon produit je recommande.
