Really good line
Strength - I have been using Berkley Sensation Copolymer 17lb green (0.015 diameter) and Berkley Vanish Fluorocabon17lb (0.015 diameter). Decided to order Kastking Tripolymer 25lb (0.015 diameter), and 30lb (0.016 diameter) in Green and Clear. Immediately did my own breaking strength tests. My tests consisted of tying Palomar knots to a hook; connecting it to a fish scale; and slowly pulling down. I was only able to reach 22.8lb (0.015 ; 25lb), ... and 24.9lb (0.016 ; 30lb) breaking points. BUT however, that's fine with me!! I'm very happy with results like that. That's damn good breaking strengths for 0.015 and 0.016 diameter lines. I may do more testing with the 0.016 ; 30lb. I'll update this if I can reach 30lb.Fishing - So far, I've caught a lot of Bass with the KK Tripolymer Green, and Clear. The Green blends in with the river so well, that I lose sight of the line. I literally have to trace the line from the rod tip to see where I even threw the lure. So, if you rely on line movement before setting the hook, you'll find the green very hard to see. But, that's alright with me. Hell, if I can't see it, I'm sure fish can't either. LoL!! The Clear is easy to see. You can count of this KK Tripolymer Clear giving Fluorocarbon a run for it's money. Both the green and clear sank better in water than pure Mono does - which I like a lot.Line Memory - I don't know why manufacturers advertise "low line memory". If you spool up a baitcaster with Mono or Fluorocarbon, you're gonna have some degree of line memory IF it sits around a couple weeks unused. It's just the beast of the nature. Braid is the only line with no memory, but even braided line has its pro & cons.Knot - I used Palomar knots for my testing. The line broke during my tests, not the knot. I haven't tested the FG knot with either Berkley (Sensation & Vanish), or Kastking Tripolymer. But I'm confident both lines will hold up really good with the FG knot.Abrasion tests - I didn't do any abrasion tests, but this KK Tripolymer feels very solid, stiff, and strong.Casting - KK Tripolymer casts really good. I'm surprised at how well the 0.016 diameter casts. It casts just as good as the 0.015 line does. I'm now conflicted between these two lines.Overall - I do think Kastking is on the right track with this new Tripolymer. You can not beat the price and yardage you get! Knots hold up well, and the line is tough. I WILL be buying more of the Green and Clear 0.015 and 0.016 diameters. I'm giving up Berkley Sensation and Vanish for this KK Tripolymer. Berkley's price is just too much for 250yds, so y'all there at Kastking.... better not increase this price of $10.99 for a 1//4 spool. People need this line, and the price too.

Surprising Quality
I got this line to mainly try out an alternate to mono. Comparing this line (10lb test was what I ordered in green) to Berkeley Trilene 10lb clear mono, I have to say this stuff works very well. It was easy to spool, but it was on a 2600+ yard spool so it should’ve gone one well regardless. It feels thinner than the trilene, it sinks in the water, and doesn’t stretch either. It feels like an in between mono and fluoro. I did have a hook break off twice. Once after landing a fish, and second time on a cast. I think that maybe the several fish I caught might’ve weakened that point in the line, but was still pulling 1.5-3.6lb bass out no problem. It’s going to take more than a couple breaks after several hours fishing to get me to know for sure, but for the money this line is working great. I was running this line by itself on my reel, not as a leader.

Updated experience
My experience with this line begins with an 8lb spool. It was horrible. Broke at knot, before the knots, between the knots, you get the picture. Maybe I got a bad spool, I’m not sure after reading many reviews here. But I swore it off and continued relying on Berkley big game mono.To be up front, I’ve many KK products, from rods and reels to their tackle sling bag and tackle boxes as well as their braided line. All but one reel has held up to serious abuse and still functioning as they should. Except for the Spartacus baitcast reel, the cork grip one no longer made. Part of it was user error the other I chalk up to the reel just not holding up to a 2lb fish. May it RIP.Anyways, after the disappointment with the 8lb line I was very cautious and slow to buy another spool to see if it had gotten any better so I purchased a 10lb spool. Now, the 8lb was thinner than the seaguar flouro 8lb so going to a slightly stronger line was ideal for me.I gave this last purchase of the 10lb line 4 stars. It’s a night and day difference from the 8lb spool that was trash. The 10lb spool I got is very strong and holds a knot like a dream. And its diameter is quite small. I’m very pleased with the spool I just received but still a bit cautious. As a KK fan I hope they are reading the reviews around here. It may help improve the quality control and quite honestly, if they become consistent with it being good, I’ll buy many more spools to spool all my reels with this line. The 10lb diameter will fit my needs for all spinning and spincaster reels. No more braid for me on the spinning reels! So, KastKing, please figure out what’s going on, I’d love to purchase this line regularly without having to worry of getting a bad spool and having to repurchase. My next spool will be a 15 to 20lb roll for my baitcasters and I pray it’ll be a good one.

Item arrived and as described
If this mono line is anything like the braided line they make, will not be a problem. Spooled on my reels now waiting to use it.

Worked great
Works great but you have to double your line for knot strength. Fished Shad up to 8lbs and Smallmouth 4lb and Pickerel 24 in and is good line for these species. Cast great
